    Hi,

I have a problem, as in the subject.
Half a year ago, I connected the pad to the same computer normally and it worked without any problems. Now, after half a year, when I want to connect it, Windows doesn't see it. The pad vibrates and the light blinks, but nothing else. I connected the pad to the laptop via USB and it doesn't work either, but because BT does.
I downloaded some "supposedly" driver from the Internet for the pad, but it didn't help either... Do you have any advice on how to run this pad on a PC?

Congratulations on your carefreeness - that's the first thing.
Replacing the cable - that's the second thing.

I'm using this program for the first time because I wanted to quickly...
I tried two cables, only they were from Ali.
Do you think it might be the cable's fault? I will try to borrow an original cable from the phone and see if it will work

I borrowed a cable from a neighbor and the pad started working!! what this is about ??
These two Ali cables charge and work normally on other devices, but they don't work with the Xbox ONE pad. I will add that I also connected the pad via a JBL speaker cable and it doesn't work either... but the one I borrowed from my neighbor works. And this is not the original phone, but a replacement WTF?! what's going on here? Does the pad have to have a special cable or something?

The point is that if these are some "magic" charging cables (with magnetic tips, glowing, etc.), they usually do not have data cores - that's why there is no communication.

These are ordinary, normal cables, just like the one from JBL...
and that makes me wonder. Why do these two ali plus the original one from the speaker not work with the pad, and some replacement that the guy uses to charge the phone works. Now I don't even know what cable to order to make sure it works, because I have to return this one and it doesn't have any name on it.

Changing the cable helped me, I couldn't charge from the speaker, but it worked from the phone

Topic summary

The user experienced issues with their Xbox One controller not being recognized by Windows 10 via USB, despite it working previously. After troubleshooting, including trying multiple cables, the user discovered that only a borrowed cable from a neighbor allowed the controller to function. It was noted that some cables, even if they appear normal, may lack data transfer capabilities, which is essential for the controller to communicate with the PC. The discussion highlighted the importance of using a compatible cable for data transfer, as not all charging cables are suitable for this purpose.
