    Hello
I have a problem with my dishwasher. I used the wrong washing tablet which produced a lot of foam and the error F6 E4 was displayed. This happened once before and the gentleman from the service center cleared the errors and it was ok. Please help me how to clear this error and continue to use the dishwasher.

Deletion - Long press ( about 5 seconds) the start button.
Then turn on washing without tablets and without dishes to rinse the dishwasher.

Hello, I just had a similar problem today. The dishwasher is a little over 2 years old, and when I tried to start it up, it would shut off after about 30 seconds, and a flashing F6 E4 error would appear when I opened the dishwasher. After numerous attempts to find a solution (there is no word about this error in the manual).
    The solution is:
    - pulling the dishwasher out of the built-in
    - placing it on its side (beware!!! will spill a lot of liquid about 2 liters)
    - unscrewing the bottom cover which is also a tray for dirt-liquid
    - cleaning the float and the tray
    - twisting the whole thing and connect the dishwasher :)

On the bottom of the dishwasher is a tray for liquid and above it is a float with a sensor. If the float rises due to excess liquid/sludge then this error is shown. Unfortunately, the manufacturer forgot to inform users about this.

I'm just puzzled by the fact why the sludge (oily, yellow liquid) collects there, and does not flow out together with the dirty water - there are two hoses that drain to the tray of dirt (I think from around the hinged door.

    Greetings.
    MS.

Because the tripping of the aqua stop sensor, qualifies the dishwasher to be repaired by the service, or at least diagnose the fault.

I think you are right. After one successful wash from the repair, the dishwasher showed the same error. I called the service department - we'll see what they say. If I find out, I'll post on the forum.

    Hello
probably there was a water leak, which raised the float, which is responsible for protection against flooding of the apartment. You need to remove the cover, which is located under the door, dry the float and locate the leak. Most often in these models the seals move or are damaged from the salt dispenser.

    Hello
I don't want to start a new topic of the same kind, so I'll hook up here :)
My dishwasher is 3 years old ADG 6240 FD and just such an error was thrown to me recently.
When it did it was dark in the house and I heard something like a light bulb burn out and I had the impression of a small flash. The water was not pumped out either. I was sitting in the next room, and since the door is not there so that's where my observations came from. I was sure that the pump banged. The dishwasher no longer turns on at all and immediately shows after pressing start error F6 E4

Yesterday a professional was called. He took apart the bottom opened probably the pump and found that it was clean and it was definitely not that. He stated that it was 100% electronics. He took apart (quite nervously, there was even a chicken) and removed the module, opened it and immediately found that it is to be replaced and that it is not worth doing. The fact that inside the casing was in two places at the pipe, but on the board itself I did not notice anything special.

Today I call and ask how much this module he ze 480 zl. With replacement about 600 zl. He pointed out again that he would not repair in my place and that the module itself did not burn and certainly it went from something that supposedly from the heater or pump burned.

I found such a module on the Internet new for 323 zł so a significant difference, but now I do not know whether to buy it or actually something else will be I'll throw money down the drain.
Ew maybe someone knows in the vicinity of 3-city some good professional.

And I'll add that for some time there were a few times when I turned on such a ticking and now I know that it was ticking in the module. Because when I started early it started almost immediately pumping out the water old residue. And when it ticked after a minute or so, but then it fired and was washed away, so I "poured" it.

It is a pity that no one has written anything.
I bought the module, installed and the dishwasher came to life is progress because it starts, takes water, pumps it out, but after 3-4 minutes it shows error F9 E1.
And now I could use professional advice on what to do next? Is something clogged? Is something clogged or the solenoid valve? Where is this valve located?

    Hello.
Error F9 E1 is a fault in the distributor (diverter) cost about 100zl

Error F6 E4 means the float switch is activated or you may have a leak or the float switch itself is broken....

As I took off the underside there literally a trace spot and dry.
Generally now it is as it was before with the ticking activated.
So try and buy this distributor? The cost is not much compared to buying the module I bought.

You wrote that you have an error F9 E1 then you need to replace the manifold. Only, when replacing it, you need to unscrew the cover in the middle of the dishwasher to which the water channel goes (next to the filter and strainer). There will be such a plate there, which only in one position can be mounted on the distributor.

Thank you very much for your help. Today after a long time I bought this part and the dishwasher is working :) Also once again many thanks :spoko: Edit:
I must have been in a bit of a hurry to get it working because now after some time of washing it showed E1 F8. I read that it is probably a dirty filter. How to remove it?
    Edit:
Dishwasher is already running normally. Nothing needed to be replaced anymore. I cleaned the OWI sensor arranged the drain hose differently and let the dishwasher go on a test program and it is OK. Thanks gumask for your help.

Hello everyone, I don't want to start a new topic that's why I'm writing here
My dishwasher is Whirpool ADG9553 error code is F6 E4 maybe someone with more experience can tell me how to check the water distributor. I mean the motor because the micro button is working and the second question what are the components I have burned out on the controller to everything I attach pics. I will also add that the dishwasher got a short circuit through a damaged drain hose. Heater checked ok, drain pump checked ok, float and micro contact checked ok.
    Greetings :bye:

I had the same error ie F6 E4 : replacing the microswitch in the flux distributor, plus cleaning the contacts on the board and plug. Full success.

Hello thank you for your reply, what I care most is what value is the burnt resistor next to the one in the last photo.

However, in my case, one black hose just fell off and poured water into the tray. I put it back on. I tightened it up, dried the contacts that got wet and so far it works.
    Edit:
However, it's not so good. The program starts working, but the moment it is supposed to start the heater /pump triggers the differential. i took apart and the measurement on the input socket indicates 0Ω that is a short circuit. Could any of you look at the attached photo and tell me where it could potentially short circuit? I dried it, cleaned it, it does not look so bad there, and the meter shows zero Ω all the time....

If you have a short circuit between the contacts of the heater ie 0Ω it means the heater to be replaced and that is why it blows your fuses. The short circuit is inside in the heater, you can not see it with the naked eye or it may also be a short circuit to ground. Check the heater with a meter, it should be about 20Ω, and check for leakage to ground on Mega Ohms.

Do you perhaps know what value R184 has? I would also like to make sure about the value of R186 (80E/308) and R187 (4 7(underlined) 2) their measured values are inconsistent with the theory.

It started during the wash cycle of my ADG 6240 FD the main breaker tripped and the lights went out. After turning on the circuit breaker for the dishwasher, the dishwasher displayed an F6 E4 message and I began to investigate. I didn't find any water in the lower tub and started checking the individual components like the heater and the pump and everything seems to be working. However, I disassembled the front panel and discovered the same destruction of components as user orajc on the control board.
Can I ask if you managed to repair the control board? On my motherboard, the component marked F9 is destroyed, as well as resistor R80, capacitor C52 and about varistor V1.
I would need to know the values of components F9 and R80.
I don't even know if these defects arose spontaneously due to old age (e.g. drying out of capacitors) or if there was a malfunction from the outside, i.e. overloading of some component in the dishwasher (pump, valve, etc.).
Thanks for the advice Dishwasher control board with visible electronic components. Dishwasher control board with wires and electronic components. Topic summary

The discussion revolves around resolving the F6 E4 error on Whirlpool ADG6240 dishwashers, which is often triggered by using incorrect washing tablets that create excessive foam. Users suggest various troubleshooting steps, including performing a long press on the start button to reset the machine, rinsing without dishes or tablets, and checking for water leaks that may activate the float switch. Some users recommend cleaning the float and the tray beneath the dishwasher, as sludge accumulation can cause the error. Others have experienced similar issues with different Whirlpool models, indicating that the problem may also relate to electronic components or the water distributor. Solutions include replacing faulty parts such as the microswitch in the flow distributor and ensuring all connections are dry and secure.
