    Hello.
I have a broken Bandai Cyclaws r/c car, the integrated circuits (?) marked 2M04 ASQ were burned in it, there are 8 of them on the board.
Unfortunately, I cannot find its datasheet, I would like to ask for help in finding a replacement or I would be happy to buy the above-mentioned elements.
Burnt elements are rather easy to locate ;)
    Regards

Hello - these are probably SMD Mosfets. Please post a photo of the damaged board.
    Regards.

Hello - based on the photo, I am convinced that these are double N/P Mosfets.

    Hello.
Thank you for your quick response ;)
I will take photos as soon as I get home, unfortunately only tomorrow because I'm on the road.
Can I solder the replacement elements you provided in the TME without any stress, or are they just sample replacements? I'm asking because I couldn't find a datasheet or any specification for this 2M04 ASQ anywhere.
(I would like to thank one of the users for pointing out an error that lowered the level of the forum, unfortunately the epithet; "Orphan" indicated the level of intelligence and the ability to read with understanding and logical thinking of the author of the submission, because how else to explain the incomprehensible "m" and "M" and "asq" instead of " ASQ" in the name ;) )
I'm sorry, I had to lower my own level to comment on it, and the colleague reporting such nonsense, if he has nothing to say on the topic, maybe it's better to limit himself to reading...
    Regards

Hello - these elements are damaged - you can see in the photo. What worries me more is what happened
the reason why so many elements were damaged. Was the car pushed too hard?
Maybe the brushes in the motors are wearing out - you should check this before soldering
    new elements appear.

Generally, the car was used in a room on panels and the right drive side was weaker than the left (steering like a tracked vehicle) so it was spinning to the right, so I opened it and started it to see if something was burning and then the left mosfet burned (looking from the bottom of the board). (engines at the top) and the right drive side stopped permanently. It seemed to me that it was the fault of burnt mosfets. The previous owner certainly used the toy in the field.
Today I'm coming back from the trip, I'll take detailed photos of all the electronics and engines and post them here or send them to your e-mail.
    Regards

    I'm sorry it's only now, but I just got back from the tour. Promised photos below;

    Hello

I have the same problem as my friend, but in another RC vehicle (JLX, green pumped wheels) powered by a 9.6V pack. I bought the car already damaged. I am posting photos below, maybe they will add something to the topic. As for the excessive load, I rather think it is simply a manufacturing defect because, for example, in my vehicle it is quite common from what I found out.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around finding replacements for burned 2M04 ASQ integrated circuits in a Bandai Cyclaws R/C car. Users suggest that the components are likely SMD Mosfets, specifically double N/P Mosfets. A recommended replacement part is the FDS8958, which is available for purchase. Concerns are raised about the underlying cause of the damage, with suggestions to check for potential issues such as motor wear or excessive load. Additional users share similar experiences with other R/C vehicles, indicating a possible manufacturing defect in the components.
