    Hi.
I am trying to repair the Ryobi R18DDBL screwdriver.
After the demolition, it was easy to see that the mosfet was burned. So I ordered on AliExpress and today I desoldered the damaged piece.
The paths / generally the area around the MOSFET is very much burned out. I don't see any chance for a repair at this point. However, in the adjacent fields you can see pads with the appropriate footprint.
Can I believe that these are spare fields to solder a new MOSFET into them? Can I ask for tips on how to check it?

PS. How come these transistors support "Continuous Drain Current, VGS @ 10V (Silicon Limited)? 132A "Can I have an explanation please? Source - technical documentation.

Hello - you can check whether they are (active) with an ohmmeter on the transition. Ryobi R18DDBL Repair: Burnt Mosfet 7L86 Replacement & Tips for Checking Spare Fields

    Hi.
Does a colleague have a wiring diagram for this screwdriver? I have a problem with it too, it stopped working after two days in the rain ? but I don't see any damage and I don't really know where to start.

"Continuous Drain Current, VGS @ 10V (Silicon Limited) 132A" - with proper cooling, the transistor to bear such an intensity is rather no achievement.

Hello. I have a similar situation with a Ryobi chainsaw. I also got a MOSFET but there is no room for a second one and the paths have also burned a bit so that the two "yellow" ones are gone and my question is whether they can just be shorted to the other 3 "yellow" ones, or can I just skip them and will it work too?
