Hello. I do not know if the appropriate department is there, so I would ask for your understanding. I would like to connect my console to a laptop with an HDMi cable and I wonder if it is possible. I have already made one try and nothing, I would like the laptop screen to replace the TV set :) And that's why colleagues, I am writing to you whether such a thing is even possible.

Laptop model: HP Pavilion G7 (has an HDMi input)

No, because the hdmi connector on a laptop is a signal output, not an input.

Unfortunately, you can't do that. You can get the console image on a laptop with a video grabber (eg AverMedia DarkCrystal USB) - but it will be playable because there will be too much latency.

This grabber has no HDMI input, only a component.

Yes. But the Xbox has a component output.
Can use eg AverMedia Live Gamer.

Unfortunately, this is still not a solution for gaming, but for dumping videos from the game :P
