    Hello

I have a problem with the flash drive. I got it as a gift. After inserting it into USB, the computer sees it as a removable disk (H. :) but when I want to enter it, it crashes me with the message "Insert the disk into the drive H .:"

Is it possible to fix it? We checked the flash drive on several computers and the problem keeps repeating.

diskpart does not detect the flash drive and neither does TestDisk

I have to admit that I cannot grasp this program. Are there any instructions on creating partitions with this program? I don't even know if it will work properly

Well, it doesn't seem to detect it. Here where are Port 1, Port 2, Port 3 etc .. should this be my pendrive?

connect the flash drive to the computer run cmd.exe type (without the quotes) "diskpart" wait a moment enter the command "list disk" and you will see disk 0 disk 1 disk 2 depending on how much you have and you need to choose the one that corresponds to your flash drive, e.g. . disk 1 has 1024 MG = 1 GB as much as let's assume the connected pendrive, so you write "select disk 1" (it may be different for you) then type "clean", wait a bit and type "create partition primary" again, wait until something pops up that it worked or something, then the command "activ" and finally "format fs = fat32 quick"
you are waiting again and as it writes that you have succeeded, you close it and the end of the pendrive should work

    So it looks like this:

Pendrive Issue: Insert Disk into Drive H: - AX216 Flash Reader USB Device, Unknown File System

PS: I would like to add that after connecting the pendrive the diode is on all the time.

The pendrive does not detect anything; /
    "QCTool" or "DM 8261 Partition".
It's a pity for the west.

Programs for working with the logical structure will not help you in the case of damaged pendrives. There are only programs from, as one of his colleagues put it, the Ruthenian side that reigns on this forum. To select the correct program, you can use VID and PID identifiers or open the housing and read the controller marking. Pendrive repair with programs from this Russian website makes it impossible to recover data. If the data is more important than the flash drive, in case of such symptoms you should desolder the memory chips and recover the data directly from the memory ... and buy a new flash drive.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a malfunctioning AX216 Flash Reader USB device, which is recognized by the computer as a removable disk (H:), but displays an "Insert the disk into the drive H:" error when accessed. Users suggest various troubleshooting methods, including using ChipEasy for diagnostics, attempting to format the drive with DiskPart, and utilizing DM 8261 Partition software. However, the flash drive is not detected by these programs, indicating potential hardware failure. Some users share similar experiences with other brands, like Kingston, and emphasize that recovery of data may require specialized software from Russian sources or physical intervention to desolder memory chips if data recovery is critical. Overall, the consensus is that the drive may be irreparably damaged.
