I have versions without cruise control, the question is if I replace the steering wheel with one with cruise control buttons, will it require some additional coding? Is it just a matter of buttons? and everything should start "right away?"

I have a similar problem ... Is "adding" the cruise control option in the above. way is possible? Is it really enough just to replace the steering wheel or add a cruise control switch on the steering wheel?
I think that it rather requires a deeper interference in the electronics and / or other components of the car. Am I wrong too?

Thanks in advance for expert advice from forum members experienced in this matter :-)

I didn't need any intervention or adjustments. After installing the steering wheel, everything started right away. Cruise control and speed limit work

    Thank you for your visit.

I plan to replace the steering wheel switch. i.e. Currently, I only have the left one for the radio, but I found a double switch for PLN 100 - both the left one with the radio and the right one with the cruise control. I'm just wondering if the cube is identical? Did you notice any differences when replacing the steering wheel?

On the internet, the exchange looks quite simple. And what does it look like from your experience?... But is it a waste of nerves and it's better to outsource it to a company?

The truth is that it's easier to buy the whole steering wheel (I replaced the usual one with a leather one) with buttons than to play in undressing. For a few hundred zlotys you can find a complete version with cruise control. You pull out the airbag, unscrew the nut, put the handlebars in and you're done. I mounted it to the i30 with an automatic, I do not know if the manual does not need an additional contact for the clutch.

    I installed something like this:
