Hello, I would like to know about the clutch in the drill, what it is for, what function it is for, where it is located and basic information about it.
It is most likely an element breaking the connection between the motor / gear and the drill spindle when it becomes blocked or overloaded. You have adjustable clutches in each cordless screwdriver, in which you regulate the force at which the clutch will break and jump.
I would like to add that if, for example, a hammer drill or an ordinary cordless screwdriver "grinds" and the spindle stops, it means that this clutch worked. A useful thing for both screwdrivers and impact hammers.
