The Internet is bursting at the seams with guides, programs and plugins, and you are brazenly asking for instructions?

Not so brazenly but politely I asked, and you don't have to jump at me right away ...

There is only one topic in the visible forum, but since writing, prompting is so difficult for you ...

    it's a shame to score points ....

To start playing with the scanner you need to lead the discriminator socket: http://www.discriminator.nl/index-en.html

Then you need to set the signal input level correctly. For simplex (direct) it should be 6-7%, which will translate into 11-12% for drives.

To set it up, please refer to this guide: http://ukradioscanning.com/viewtopic.php?t=312

You can check the correct settings in the "old" DSD versions (because they show "level"), which you can download from here:

    http://wiki.radioreference.com/index.php/Digital_Speech_Decoder_%28software_package%29

    a) you create a DSD folder on your computer:

    b) extract the downloaded "dsd-1.6.0" [download ZIP] into it

    c) extract the downloaded "mbelib-1.2.5" [download ZIP] into it {some of the files will be the same, so replace it}

    d) you transfer the downloaded "Windows Binary with P25 / DMR Filtr 1.6.0 Beta" to it

    e) extract the downloaded "cygwin1.dll" to it - https://app.box.com/s/kcoeo663lyettrzg7msu

All files are to be directly in the DSD folder. After unpacking, they must be moved.

After running "dsd160", you should apply to setting the signal input as described above.

Instead of the radio, you can use a DVB-T tuner, for example from "Not Only Tv LV5TDLX" for about 40 PLN, install the "Virtual Audio Cable" program and configure the outputs accordingly. You have a scanner that works from 24 to 1100MHz in this version with this tuner working on the FC0013 chip.
Below are links to the tuner descriptions, the page with the description of the new dsd + 1.5 program and the page with the VAC program settings.

In the attachment I added a file with the description of the DSD1.4 program and card settings as my colleague wrote early.
Does anyone have a program for displaying sent text messages?

Welcome gentlemen. Annual excavation, but the theme is still valid. Unfortunately, I do everything according to the instructions and all I hear is gibberish at all input volume levels. Can anyone help? Or is it coded and I will do nothing.

What device do you have? If something outside of SDR, how did you perform the discriminator? What frequency do you listen to this on?

And there is a newer version like something: http://www.dsdplus.com/download-2/

    Uniden ubc355clt
I made the discriminator according to http://www.discriminator.nl/ubc355clt/index.html
two 2.2 k and one 5.6 kW resistors in series - maybe something wrong with them? mass from the housing, mass to mass in the jack and resistors to the channels
    Frequencies within 168, ....

    Thanks for your concern

Something like that happened in the logs

    The discriminator is correctly output.

LRRP is the display of the position on the map: http://forums.radioreference.com/voice-control-channel-decoding-software/299445-lrrp-exe.html

In this case, the radio wants to send the position to the console, but there is no place to download it, because either the GPS has not been turned on or it is turned on, but the radio does not see the satellite due to the lack of an antenna.

There is no voice mail in both recorded files, so you don't hear anything.

Can you recognize in the window that there is a voice transmission?
  • #17 15412892

Yes. The call to everyone looks like this:

Enc Bcast Group call; TG = 16777215 RID = XXXXXXXXX Slot = 1 Alg = EP KeyID = XX 1s, where

    TG: group number

    RID: Radio ID

Slot: first or second time slot

AlgEP - Enhaced Privacy, i.e. extended masking

KeyID - Key ID from 1 to 255, where the value is a maximum of 10 characters using the symbols 0-9 and AF.

    1s - talk time

    Group conversation:

Enc Group call; TG = XXXXX RID = YYYYY Slot = 1 Alg = EP KeyID = XXX 10s

Private conversation, i.e. radio A with radio B without the possibility of receiving by other radios, the so-called Private Call is not on hand, but I am looking for.

Thank you very much. Just one more question, is what I recorded is Mototrbo?
  • #19 15413071
    internick
    Level 36
Yes. You must listen to this longer. Even when leaving the house, leave the scanner on.

After returning, run the DSDPlus.wav file, where it will dump decoded conversations for you.

If the signal is clear, the program will mute the encrypted gibberish. Also, do not be surprised if there is something in the log and not in the recordings.

The gibberish will either be on data you have provided or on a weak signal that the program will not recognize and judge to be unencrypted.

Ja Panowie wczoraj wszystko ładnie zainstalowałem, wszystkie sterowniki i dodatkowo DSD+ i Audio Cable.

It is not a voice but a date. Besides, the signal was hopeless. Just mistakes.

I think you are choosing your devices wrong. In my opinion, the input and output cannot be the same, but I am thin with SDR, including VAC

Even if the voice is heard, you will not hear anything because, as your colleague pointed out, you cannot have audio input and VAC output, you should have an output, as shown in the photo for the speakers. DSD + automatically sets the inputs and outputs marked as one as default. In order for you to detect the speakers as one, you must set the computer's speakers as the default device in the computer card settings in the playback options. Then everything will run smoothly.

Gentlemen, a short question, I have a stationary scanner and sdr connected through the BNC tee, as I add to the sdr antenna, the reception on a stationary one is deteriorating. My question, are there any filters, etc., maybe a special splitter? Greetings.
