    Hello,

I have a question for you: is it possible to communicate between the Siemens S7-1200 PLC (ProfiNet protocol) and the Lenze 9400 servo drive (with an Ethernet module)?

I've been trying for a while and it doesn't work very well. I have TIA Portal v13, I added the GSDML file I downloaded from Lenze, I try with TSEND_C block, but still can't communicate.

It probably doesn't matter, but I will add that there is a switch between the devices.

If anyone knows the topic, please help.

    Hello,

After the profinet, I was communicating 8400 Highline, and was not using TSEND blocks. When adding the inverter to Hardware Configuration, I chose the appropriate I / O map, and connected the appropriate signals to the Engineers in the FB Editor. In PLC, I simply used PIW and PQW.

    Regards

I am more interested in servo parameterization, i.e. sending specific frames with data.

I have added in the attachment a detailed instruction with examples of 9400 communication over Profinet (TiaPortal).
The switch does not interfere with operation.
