    Hello,
Maybe someone can help..I took the brewer out of the coffee maker and in some strange way the wheel in the middle has shifted minimally and you can't put the brewer in because the grooves don't overlap. I called the service center and they advised me to take the rear of the machine apart and use a 12-24v DC rectifier to set it in motion so that the elevator wheel in the middle would move to the correct position. The problem is that they told me in the store that these new chargers have a microprocessor (interlock) and that if they do not get 0.2v they will not allow current to flow to the battery charging terminals (crocodiles). He said that the old models, which are no longer produced, did not have such an interlock and, for example, when you rub these terminals (plus and minus) it gave a spark.
Any ideas, tips? Thanks in advance!

And it's not simpler to turn the motor rotor by hand ?
I'm sure it has some sort of worm or gear that you can turn without any problem....

That's what they told me at the service center.

But you wrote that they advised you to connect the motor to the power supply....

You wrote that this poses a problem. So if it does then spin the motor without power, using your hand..A few turns and you're done....

Problem solved. You need to adjust the lift wheel that is located in the center of the machine using 12-24v DC.

I was helped by skype service but I live in the USA and there is no service here. You have to take the machine apart and readjust the wheel that turns the brewer to the correct position. Probably like me you took the brewer out before it went to the rest position

I had a similar problem with a Nivona 750 - the electronics died during the process and the brewer could not be removed. Of course, you had to move the motor with its own 12V power supply. The easiest way, after removing the case, when the electronics board is available, is to unplug the connector described on the board "Brewing Unit" (a plug with two slightly thicker than the rest of the wires). Then, necessarily with the tray inserted - because the tray, in addition to the contacts for condensation, also closes the circuit with a microstick - connect 12V to these cables. Select the polarity to the need and no worries, the circuit moves less than a turn and has two extreme switches, so either all the way to the right or the other way. I unplugged the two ends from the plastic plug (remembering the original arrangement) -> easier then to operate with any power supply.
What about the "manual" movement suggested by NIOOP -> not in these models -> to take apart the drive (first we have to remove the brewer) you have to work pretty hard. All in all, after removing the drive cover, I have not yet got to the worm gear - besides, it was not necessary, because the method with the power supply is the only right one. One condition -> a working motor.

And one more piece of information and at the same time a request for help, as to the damage to the electronics -> symptom: immediate shutdown, and holding down the button caused the relay to cycle -> this behavior was caused by an overload and the power supply system turned off by itself. In my case, the overload was a short circuit on the dual CMOS IRF7306, after replacing it partial success -> the module starts up, but I still have the message "NO TACK" even though the "Brewing Unit" circuit is working (i.e. it changes state to closed when I insert the tray). Maybe someone knows this logic schematic enough to help track down which component I still have to replace (maybe the adjacent IRF7103, for example?). The schematic itself would also be a help.

update-> replacing this IRFA7103 and improving the solder in the "Brewing Unit" circuit healed the express.

Thanks jackos1, I also had error 8 and could not insert the brewing unit after cleaning but thanks to your instructions I managed in Nivona 757
One minor note: on the plate at my place it says "Brew unit" and not "brewing" and some non-English speaking people may doubt.

For others looking for such help, it is the board with the plug to connect the said power supply is on the left side (side of the water tray), halfway up the side, right at the edge and how to get to this board is I used this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvIrOkYICFk
I used an unneeded power supply from a tv antenna, I did not unplug the wires from the plug but from the back I inserted the wires into the plug. In my case, it did not help to swap the +- because each time the pin set in the wrong position. Only by plugging it in a few times (so "piece by piece) allowed me to set the pin correctly.
    Express is alive, I'm glad because I'm a current layman :) .

You can also press the microswitch that identifies the brewer that it is installed in the machine and turn on the machine the motor will switch to the correct position.

I tried the method with the microswitch a great many times and to no avail. It came to my mind the old "maxim-who greases it drives". Just lubricate the element marked with a yellow arrow with Ludwik for dishes and the problem is over.

I did not add, but after pressing the micro switch, you need to fool the express so that it thinks there is a closed door without it will not do anything.

Error No. 8 most often occurs in espresso machines in which the brewing drive is seized. Setting the drive to the N position, except for the fact that you will be able to insert the brewing block does not give anything. The machine will not brew coffee at maximum aroma anyway. Continuing - as the drive is seized you can not turn it by hand even if you remove the motor from it. In the manual of NIVONA 830 is described the procedure for setting the drive to the N position without the need to disassemble the machine - just with the brewing block removed press simultaneously the right arrow+exit button for 5 seconds without the brewing block. In NIVONA 757 also two keys left coffee power button and right selection.
The procedure sometimes needs to be repeated up to three times, if it does not set then we are unlucky. After error No. 8, I rather recommend a visit to the service center to replace the brewing drive, and for the future I recommend removing the brewing unit once a week.

I like this coffee maker very much. I've had it for 4 years now, and I acquired a faulty one. It brews delicious coffee and has so many advantages that it will be resuscitated for a long time to come when it refuses to cooperate. In general, everything is easy to fix in this coffee maker, especially the brewing drive. In my case, the axle with the largest sprocket was so seized that I knocked it out of its socket with a hammer. I enlarged the diameter of the sockets with a dremel and now the drive works much faster ;)

P.S. I take the brewer out for cleaning once every three months and every time I look at it, I find it pointless. There is a lot of dirt by the drain valve, but the brewer is clean.
