Hello. I have a problem. after renovation in the apartment, after moving the pipes from the radiators, I wanted to test the heating and, unfortunately, I was surprised. Cold water is coming from the taps and the heating is not working too much. The stove lights up and ... that's it. There is voltage to the thermostat, but the temperature control does not contribute anything. Do you have any ideas ???? .. the pressure is good too. there are only 4 heaters in the house

Check the hydraulic connections if everything is connected where necessary. Next, the working pressure in summer and winter is always 1 ÷ 2 bar. Next, venting and checking the pump if it works. Next, the control of sensors and automatics .... There may also be a failure of the DHW sensor or a blockage of the turbine.

Hello. Thanks for the response ;) Hydraulics approx 1.5 bar pressure. vented. the turbine does not rotate in the sense of a windmill. A blue light started flashing. Shit, I don't know what's going on ..

After renovation, I bet that the pump can stand. You have to unscrew the cap on the pump and gently but definitely push the impeller, try to rotate it, not to flood the electronics. After pressing the reset, the blinking lamp should go out. If it is impossible, the service remains - maybe it will not be terribly expensive, despite the fact that for pounds ... ;) Good luck!

Enter the fault code ... if you want to reset, press it to the horizontal lines or turn the device off-on.

I've tried everything. I am worried that the water is dripping slowly but it is dripping. The windmill does not run - the plate is as if burnt. There is voltage on every contact and resistor. There is no voltage at all on the cable that goes towards the fan. There is no list of faults here ;) Worcester Bosch Greenstar 24i Junior - Cold Water and Non-Functional Heating Post-Renovation Worcester Bosch Greenstar 24i Junior - Cold Water and Non-Functional Heating Post-Renovation Worcester Bosch Greenstar 24i Junior - Cold Water and Non-Functional Heating Post-Renovation Worcester Bosch Greenstar 24i Junior - Cold Water and Non-Functional Heating Post-Renovation

First, you need to locate the source of the leak. Is it dripping from the chimney, the fan, and the heat block? Is it coming from inside the boiler? Is the boiler dead or is it showing a blockage? The leak could damage both the fan and the plate, translating into ours over PLN 2,000 ... but replacing parts without establishing the cause is pointless ... The reasons for the failure are the unfortunate air-flue gas system or a sewage failure.

And how to determine if it is a boiler blockage ?! Only the lower part of the furnace is in operation.

If after pressing "reset" the blinking disappears and after a few moments it reappears - there is a chance that it is only the fault of the fan. If it cannot be reset (it is blinking all the time) it is rather bad with the disc.
As my predecessor wrote, it looks like a leak from the air-flue gas system (the gap above the fan) .. It can drip when it rains or when the boiler is working.
But if it is not dripping there ... and, for example, from the month you have measured on the upper edge of the exchanger - then maybe from the exchanger itself ... (the pressure on the manometer should also drop)

Well, the pressure dropped from one and a half to one bar. Okay guys, thanks for all the info so far. I do not think there will be a service without the service ;)
tomorrow I will look up at that air system. Greetings

It is probably about the failure state that is detected by electronics. The lamp starts flashing (if there is a display, the failure code appears) and without clicking "reset" the boiler will not try to start (or the pump is turned on to limit the possibility of freezing the installation. There are not exactly these boilers on our market (they have different automatics), so I do not know for sure, but the frequency or manner of flashing may say what caused the failure.
So there is no particular blockage - it should restart after a reset.

Hello. Has the problem been resolved? I have the same situation, even the sunburn on the fan plate is in the same place. I wonder what the repair / replacement costs are, or maybe it is better to buy a new boiler (which does not smile at me).

    Thank you for your help.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around issues faced with the Worcester Bosch Greenstar 24i Junior boiler after a renovation, specifically cold water from taps and non-functional heating. The user reports that the boiler lights up but does not operate effectively, with a flashing blue light indicating a potential fault. Responses suggest checking hydraulic connections, ensuring proper pressure (1-2 bar), venting the system, and inspecting the pump and sensors. A malfunctioning pump impeller and possible leaks in the air-flue gas system are highlighted as potential causes. The user experiences a drop in pressure and is advised to locate any leaks and consider professional service for repairs.
