Hello everyone, I`d like to write right away that I`m new when it comes to computers, so I`m asking for your understanding. After installing Windows 10, a circle appears next to the cursor every now and then, as if the computer was doing something, even though I`m not even using it. The updated system is doing something in the background, or should I look for the cause elsewhere? Please help.

    Disable file indexing.

If the computer doesn`t slow down when the wheel is spinning, doesn`t slow down and generally doesn`t load up, I wouldn`t worry about it. Maybe some program is running in the background, maybe it`s looking for an update. There may be many reasons

I haven`t noticed it slowing down, the circle just appears and disappears every few seconds.

    Added after 16 [minutes]:

Disabling indexing did not help ;)

Use Process Explorer and check what process is active at that time.

I used it, but I don`t really know what to look for etc... as I already wrote, I`m green.

Turn on sorting by CPU load and give a screenshot of the entire window from Process Explorer, take a screenshot when it appears circle next to the cursor.

Did you mean the "CPU" column? If so, here is the screenshot:

I turned on the computer scan, but the circle appeared earlier, so it`s not because of Avira.

After closing both AsusTP* processes, does anything change?

Now there was only one AsusTP, I clicked "suspend" and the circle disappeared for now. Does this mean that I have to do this every time I turn on the computer?

These processes (AsusTPCenter and Loader) are part of ASUS Smart Gesture, the touchpad software.

Check if there is a newer version of ASUS Smart Gesture on the Asus website.

As for the touchpad, after the update it did not work, only after installing the Windows 7 drivers everything returned to normal.

This may be the source of problems.

Uninstall ASUS Smart Gesture for now and check if everything is OK.
