Hello. I have a problem with the doors in my car, they do not open from the passenger side, but they can be opened from the outside without any problems. Car Kia Sportage 2008. How to solve this problem?

The rear doors usually have a child lock to prevent opening while driving. Look for a small lever near the lock mechanism when the door is open.

I checked it and it is in the unlocked position. I checked its operation in the second door and it works properly, that is, it locks the door and unlocks it after pulling it back, but unfortunately in those cases the locked or unlocked position does nothing. The door won`t open :-/

In that case, I would first look for the cause in the malfunction of this lock. It won`t be possible without tools and removing the upholstery.
