Hello, I have a problem with the passenger door in seat Leon I, all doors open from the remote control, except for the passenger (it cannot be opened from the inside). Close / open it several times and it works. Anyone have an idea where the problem is and how to solve it? Where to start :) Please help

If the grommet is ok, the lock needs to be replaced.

Thanks for the answer, what is this guide and how to check it? The castle walks normally from time to time, unfortunately less and less :(

The grommet is where the door wires pass from the car body. They can be broken, there is no contact in the plug, etc. It is best to unscrew the door and check if the right signals are coming to the door lock. If it turns out to be electrically OK, the problem will be in the lock itself.

If there is also a problem with opening from the inside, as you wrote, check the cables - if something is blocking the lock mechanically (the pull rod is stretched as if someone was constantly holding the handle slightly pulled), the lock will rebel and the central one will not open or close.

At 200%, you have a lock to replace, a normal thing for the VAG group.

Replace as soon as possible because if it stays in the locked position, it will be difficult to open.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a malfunctioning passenger door in a Seat Leon I, which does not open with the remote control or from the inside. Users suggest that the issue may stem from a faulty door lock or problems with the grommet where the door wires pass through. Recommendations include checking the electrical signals to the door lock and inspecting for mechanical obstructions in the lock mechanism. Consensus indicates that replacing the lock is necessary, as it is a common issue with vehicles from the VAG group. Prompt replacement is advised to avoid the door becoming permanently locked.
