What is the maximum speed you can get on a coaxial cable?

Because from what I learned you can get 10 Mb/s.
And on the plus ad, or orange there, they connect the coax antenna to the router and get something like 21 Mb / s.

Yes, the Lan network on the coaxial cable had a maximum of 10 Mbps, but it was possible to send the signal over 500 meters, so the low speed was limited by the transmission protocol used.
With the use of other frequencies and other transmission protocols, you can send a lot on a coaxial cable. What is an example of drink. Satellite TV /the connection of the converter with the receiver is a coaxial cable/, or cable TV, e.g. over 100 digital channels, 70 analog channels and the Internet are transmitted over the coaxial cable.

Why do computers have twisted pair inputs and not coax?

I bet it's cheaper. You can make a 1Gbit interface for pennies. On good kalnach will go and 10gbit. The cable is cheap as dirt, unlike a good coax. Thinner cable, easier to install. Active devices are cheaper, smaller.

It's not exactly like that. In the 10Base5 standard, on the so-called thick 50? coax, a single segment was up to 500m long. In the 10Base2 standard, on a thin 50? coax, the segment length was up to 185m. In both cases, the maximum speed is 10Mbit. It was the so-called baseband transmission, currently such cables are not used.
Transmission, for example, in cable TV networks takes place over 75? cables as broadband.
There are also devices that are often used in CCTV for Ethernet transmission over 75? cables over distances of up to several hundred meters at 100Mbps speed.
