Range = width / range. Have you tried to enter "25565-25565"?

And my colleague knows what port forwarding is and what is port triggering, what are port ranges, etc. - or is it just blindly hoping to hit?

Since you want a range of ports, how do you want to only forward one port?

I don't know, and the horizon tutorials don't work.

Kolga above asked for it and I did. (it's about the port)

In forwarding a port range is redirected, in port triggering a given single port is redirected.

You want to forward a single port in a forwarding port - not this tab - you do it in port triggering.
Please also remember that Horizon is something like a modemorouter - here the port is unblocked on Horizon and not a given computer.

It remains to enter the IP of the computer in the DMZ Host tab - people who have their modem routers: Thomson, Cisco or Technicolor have similar - here and there the external IP has a modem router, not a computer in the network and the redirection does not work.

It remains to replace Horizon with a regular cable modem by changing it from modemorouter to bridge (it should have such an option) - but this requires buying your own router, if we have more than one computer on the local network - only one computer works in a bridg without its own router.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around issues with unblocking ports on the UPC Horizon device. The original poster seeks assistance, indicating confusion about the port forwarding process. Responses clarify the difference between port forwarding and port triggering, emphasizing that for a single port, port triggering should be used. It is noted that the Horizon functions as a modem-router, requiring the external IP to be set correctly for effective port unblocking. Suggestions include entering the computer's IP in the DMZ Host tab and considering switching to a bridge mode with a separate router for better management of multiple devices on the network. One user confirms success in opening NAT after adding the console IP.
