So the condition looks like this -
I have a router with 192.168.1.x address in the network - connected to the UPC router via the WAN port
the UPC router has the address 192.168.0.x -
after logging into this router I have such info outside:
Internet IP Address: 89.70.44.51
Subnet Mask: 255.255.252.0
Default Gateway: 89.70.44.1
DNS IPv4 1: 62.179.1.62
DNS IPv4 2: 62.179.1.63
And now I have a small thing
After logging in to any browser, it shows me that my IP is 89.70.44.51
while pinging already 89.70.44.51 does not detect anything (89.70.44.1).
Is this a good idea that there is some UPC router along the way with 89.70.44.xx
and if I would like to redirect a port within my network is it not enough to change the two routers that are on my network (the one with UPC and mine)?
do you have an idea how to do it - can something else be done?
