So the condition looks like this -

I have a router with 192.168.1.x address in the network - connected to the UPC router via the WAN port
the UPC router has the address 192.168.0.x -

after logging into this router I have such info outside:
    Internet IP Address: 89.70.44.51
    Subnet Mask: 255.255.252.0
    Default Gateway: 89.70.44.1
    DNS IPv4 1: 62.179.1.62
    DNS IPv4 2: 62.179.1.63

And now I have a small thing
After logging in to any browser, it shows me that my IP is 89.70.44.51
while pinging already 89.70.44.51 does not detect anything (89.70.44.1).

Is this a good idea that there is some UPC router along the way with 89.70.44.xx
and if I would like to redirect a port within my network is it not enough to change the two routers that are on my network (the one with UPC and mine)?

do you have an idea how to do it - can something else be done?

You do not reason - in a standard simple router you will not answer ping from the LAN side with IP WAN.

You have everything right - public IP address: 89.70.44.51

Redirect the needed port on the router from the UPS to the IP of your router, on your to the IP of the device in the LAN.

Along the way, you still have a whole bunch of other routers. But to the point. By entering the site type ip.wp.pl shows you at what address you are visible through the world. If you have the same address in the information displayed in the panel of the same modem-router from UPC it is cool.
Address 89.70.44.1 is the default gateway and its existence is justified by the way the internet works. You have been assigned address 89.70.44.51 and focus on it

You want to do a redirection. With the current configuration you described, which I see as follows

[INTERNET] 89.70.44.51 [UPC] HOUSE ROUTER] 192.168.1.0/24

I would make the address that is assigned to the home router appear in the UPC modem configuration as a DMZ zone, and create a port forwarding on the home router.

Not every device needs to respond to ping. This option can be disabled by the device administrator.

And I would follow this course of action.
If you do not add your router in the DMZ modem router from UPC, then on your router you will not forward any ports.

Though it would be nice if you could tell what exactly is the UPC modem router? - because it may turn out that you will not need to insert your router in the DMZ hardware from UPC.
