You didn't write what was done.
Have you blinded? Did you clean? Did you put in a new one?

From what I understood the mechanic, it appears that ...... the computer showed that the EGR was turned off, so it did not take it into account during the initial diagnostics, but it turned out that the EGR was opening while driving, so it was blinded or completely fired, I did not penetrate what it would do. the fault has been removed.

Hello, if someone decides to blind the EGR in the z16xep engine, there is no need to leave any holes (even the smallest hole causes the exhaust flow to the intake manifold and its dirt when the valve is activated). It can be completely plugged without any consequences for the engine.

This will most likely be the ignition coil (dis four coils combined into one module)

I forgot about this case a long time ago.
I exchanged coils, egr three sets each.

Cleaning the intake manifold helped. Concrete canals did such art.
Cleaned channels, old coil, and EGR are back in place.

I dealt with the matter in the spring.
I drove 5 thousand. km and nothing happens.
The Dodger is able to carry out such cleaning himself.
I did it according to some Russian-language YouTube video.
    To sum up.
Firstly exact cleaning the intake channels. Only later shopping.

For me, the mechanic also undressed and checked the entire exhaust system

Hello, I reheat the old chops :) An error appeared again, this time too rich air mixture, could the reason be the air flow meter?

This is what is happening. I've repaired these drivers a couple of times. One gentleman bought new candles and three new coils and it was the same, I got the driver and it was damaged for an hour and repaired.

Buddy, I have such a problem with the X22SE engine in the Fronter. Everything is already listed, but not the driver and I did not touch the EGR. I live close to Warsaw, so maybe you can give me a bearing on yourself?

Hello, the car is picked up and so far it flies nicely, ultimately the cause of the misfire turned out to be EGR.

As I understand it, no error related to EGR popped up?

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a persistent check engine light and misfire errors (P0300 and P0301) in a 2004 Opel Astra G with a Z16XEP engine. The user initially replaced spark plugs and ignition coils, but the issues persisted, including rough idling and a flashing check engine light under acceleration. Suggestions included checking the engine control unit (ECU) for damage, as well as inspecting the EGR valve and wiring. After further diagnostics, it was determined that a damaged ignition coil and a frayed camshaft sensor cable were the primary causes. The user also explored the possibility of issues with the fuel quality and the timing belt. Ultimately, cleaning the intake manifold and addressing the EGR valve resolved the misfire problem.
