    Hello.
I am buying a replacement for the Hp Pavilion dm1-4020ew

    I can choose from:
    Pure Power
The bush company, i.e. google does not find anything about it.
I also did not find user reviews.

    Green Cell
Heavily advertised company by the seller. They give a good 12 month guarantee.
I suppose they also have word of mouth marketing on their portals.
Some people suggest it's Chinese, but anyone can burn it that way

    Enestar
A replacement twice as expensive (costs up to PLN 170!)
    Google finds:
    www.enestarenergy.com/
... but I don't know if it's the same company.
Few opinions about this brand on the web.

I am asking for your opinions: length of work, real capacity.
And about possible knowledge about origin cells of each brand.
I'm mainly interested in this one Enestar. Is it worth paying extra?
    Greetings.

I received information from Green cell that these batteries are indeed Chinese production. The store selling Enestar replied the same.
Well, the originals are probably also made in China
The man from Green Cell confirmed that: "The product is subject to a complaint, in this case the battery in which the capacity drops above 20%"

I am still not sure if it is worth paying extra for these Enestar.

    Hello
Unfortunately, I have a traumatic experience with brand batteries Pure Power
The batteries are supposed to be new (so says the Seller). and in the laptop they simply behave as expired, defective
After inserting into the laptop, fully charged, they first show 100% (with a note that it corresponds to 1 hour, sometimes 2 hours of work) Then after 15-35 minutes it can suddenly drop to 35% After another 15 minutes it is not known why suddenly to 7%, then the computer turns off due to low battery level.
The worst thing about this is that Sellers (for example from Allegro) pour great poems of praise and write nonsense about their quality and certificates that have little to do with real usable quality
I have personally checked the quality and do not recommend Pure Power batteries! :not: :(
    greetings

The replacement is a replacement and no matter Pure Power or Green Cell. These batteries are manufactured from Chinese ZN cells and Chinese electronics. These are not bad batteries, but as it happens with replacements, there is a small percentage of defective ones. Advertise this faulty battery and the next one should work properly. Replacements made of Samsung, Panasonic or LG cells made in China are better, but they cost 50% more. As for the "poems of praise" you are right. Pure Power and Green Cell introduce themselves as producers of batteries and cells, and this is bluff and sheer abuse. There are no such producers, just open the battery to find out. They ordered only labels with their own logo from the manufacturer and advertise their batteries as branded, and others are only cheap replacements with a start-up guarantee, very harmful to the environment, they do not have certificates and their lifetime is very short. Totalne nonsense and Allegro tolerates it.

I bought Green Cell batteries on the well-known auction site - everything is beautifully packaged, looks fairly solid overall, throughout the warranty period, I was satisfied. The time came 2 weeks after the warranty, when the computer running on the battery simply turned off and did not want to turn on without the power supply. After connecting the power supply, the system constantly estimates the battery capacity. Probably something fell. In a word, I had to buy a new battery, this time the choice fell on the cheapest Pure Power. As for the quality of the replacements, I suspect that there are no miracles and there is no major difference between them.

    Hello
I bought a pure power EN EL3E 7.4V 1800mAh battery on the Nikon d90 allegro.
Using the original charger, charging is endless, and after installing it in the device, the indicator shows about 50% and drops quickly.

He buys a Greencel for laptops and they usually live for 2 years, sometimes 20 months depends on the use, but generally, every 2 years he buys in Krakow from the same seller.
I do not play with resets and other crap.

On the other hand, it goes well, but not cheap, for power tools.

What you don't buy, one crap. The emphasis is on profit, not quality. And so our planet is littered with tons of shit for money ...
All these "high quality substitutes" are made of the same rejects. How can she withstand a year holding capacity is an incredible success and happiness.
And the purchase of the original is almost miraculous, they are so carefully forged.
I bought "original SONY battery" in a blister pack, I looked for differences under a magnifying glass and did not find it. It loads quickly and loses capacity quickly. A swindler, a swindler and a swagger.
Choose randomly and not the amount and you will get the same. Don't waste your money on passionate assurances of "careful selection of the highest quality cells". This is just fashionable deer pumping. One goal - profit. So don't give them the satisfaction you got pumped up.

He buys original cells in China that keep parameters. In Poland, they are not for sale at all.
Once again, I write that POLAND is a garbage and a market for trash, just like with alternators and starters, it is practically impossible to buy a new original, only in wholesalers.

    Hello
As for the battery, I agree with my colleague, I have such experiences. I often come across expired batteries, accumulators, car oils, even adhesives. As for the rest, not necessarily ...
Car alternators in Poland are decent, native. In Łomianki near Warsaw there is a Polish manufacturer (Bendi ....) of alternators. From what I have heard, many praise them very much.

I bought Green Cell replacements for three laptops. I was pleased. They were larger batteries with larger dimensions. And they kept as much as the standard original sizes. Price is much cheaper than the original.

    Hello
Out-of-date, out of order, damaged batteries in the packaging are the bane of Polish sellers.
    1. A large, popular supermarket in Poland from a French chain.
I look at the batteries in closed packages, from a hanger, one by one. Every now and then some strange surprises, combined packages. I am looking for the date on the packaging, it is either stuck or tiny, but you can decode it with a magnifying glass. Unfortunately overdue. How can they sell it?
    2. Similar to heca with adhesives. I bought a package of a more expensive, special PVC glue, with the date almost on the border (in fine print, on the back, in the corner). I had no choice but to take what was. The date still covers - it's probably good. I have paid. At home, I open the packaging, take the bottle out of the kit (primer / degrease) and I can't believe my eyes. Dry in the bottle, nothing, zero! 8-O

The only place where I bought fully functional batteries was, surprisingly, a large "department store" with furniture, a well-known Swedish chain in Poland.
In the electrics department, the incandescent lamps have a series of yellow batteries. They are ok, they have a date as needed, they work as they should. :) You can....? You can!
But why should I go to the Furniture Store for working batteries ...?

    greetings

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the quality and reliability of laptop battery replacements for the HP Pavilion dm1-4020ew, specifically comparing brands Pure Power, Green Cell, and Enestar. Users express concerns about the performance of Pure Power batteries, citing issues with rapid capacity loss and overall poor quality. Green Cell batteries are noted for their marketing and warranty but are confirmed to be produced in China, raising questions about their longevity. Enestar, while more expensive, lacks sufficient user reviews to justify the higher price. Participants emphasize that many replacement batteries are made from low-quality Chinese cells, and there is skepticism about the claims of quality from these brands. Overall, the consensus suggests that all these brands may offer similar performance, with a recommendation to consider original batteries for better reliability.
