I have such a module, but yesterday I failed while trying to update the firmware.
The upgrade of the Integra 128WRL went without a problem (maybe except for the howling sirens that the control panel is unable to control during the upgrade ;) ).

I have already read this thread: https://www.elektroda.pl/rtvforum/topic1688564.html
But I guess I've read too much already.

Unfortunately, I did not find a reasonable description on the SATEL website and the "ETHM-1 Plus FLASH v2.03" program does not suggest anything.

Has anyone done updates 2.01->2.03 and could describe the procedure?

From what I've read so far:
    1. I turn off the power.
    2. I disconnect the DATA and CLOCK (i.e. from the keypad bus).
    3. Disconnect the RS-232 cable (i.e. from the control panel).
    4. I connect to the computer via RS-232, run the program to update the firmware in the module.
    5. I turn on the power.
    6. The program performs the update.
    7. I turn off the power, connect as it was.

    A few questions.
    1. I understand that I connect rs232 to the computer->ethm-1plus
    2. What should the db9 -> header ethm1plus cable look like (I have an rj cable for the PBX so this one does not fit...)
    3. Do you have to select "slow mode" and/or "restart" in the program?

    Regards,
    Luke

I did the same update yesterday and it went without problems.

For me, I only disconnected the serial cable from 'ethm1plus' that goes to the control panel, and I plugged in the cable I had for programming the integra 32 (my version on the main board of the control panel is still in the older, 5-pin header). So it looks (and very good) that the 5-pin RS232 cable standard is the same in integra32 and ethm1 plus. I once saw a diagram of this cable in the manual (pdf) for the integrated.

All wires on the twisted connector 'ethm1plus' (power supply and keypad bus) are unchanged - they were connected during the upgrade.

Since I don't have RS232 in my laptop, I used a Chinese USBDB9 RS232 adapter. Interestingly, the "ETHM-1 Plus FLASH v2.03" program recognized it as com4, while in the system it is com10 (working with putty), but it works (the program sees ethm) so I did not touch it.

The program first searches for com devices and then upgrades, shows what it does step-by-step. It worked for the 1st time, the new version of the firmware was also detected by the android application connecting to this board, so everything went ok (full respect to the authors of this solution). I also didn't touch any slow/restart settings - the program went through the procedure itself. System: Win7.

What I don't know yet is: in the integra controll application I see only the manipulator. Numeric keypad, connects, works, but quite slow, so I'd like something more interactive, something like 'system dashboard' ;-) - I look and see, without time-consuming scrolling through the keypad menu, etc. - During emergency situations it is necessary ...), and the other tabs (inputs/outputs/troubles/events) are greyed out. It looks like you may need to connect via the satel-server ('authorization' tab), but when I entered the mac+id of my 'ethm1plus' board, the server/application said yesterday that such a mac+id pair was not found. I also upgraded DloadX, and now I see that in mac+id they are already inflated, they do not show info, and they are not editable (while from the older version they were visible and editable). Today, in turn, I see that the application is trying to connect (not complaining about the lack of mac+id), but it gets stuck in 'downloading data'.

Maybe click something / somewhere to activate this connection (info on tabs other than the clean keyboard)? I hope I don't have to upgrade the integration software (currently I have 1.7).

    Maybe someone can help? :-)

Due to the lack of other ideas, I also upgraded the motherboard (now everything is in the latest version of the software), and (to me, at first a little disbelief, and finally with admiration for the authors of this software): it worked. Same cable/kit USBDB9 RS2325-pin.

The firmware version of the integra32 board "upgraded" from 2009 to 2016. The data migrated correctly. There were some clicks and resets, but after ~3h we managed to connect the whole thing also by IP. DloadX now works properly, the addresses are showing up, and most importantly (that was the goal): the Android application called 'Integra' worked.

The user perspective is full and flawless, and gives you exactly the 'dashboard'/view (no need to click on keyboard menus) you need.

    Hello.
Two days ago I updated the integra 256 plus to 1.16 and everything was ok, now I updated the ethm-1 Plus to 2.03 and I can't connect you dloadx over LAN or via the internet with the integra.
    I didn't change any settings.
The TSI keypad shows all IP settings, etc. the same as before the update, dloadx via usb cable (com3) also shows everything as before, and you can see that ethm 1 plus is in version 2.03, but I can't access the integration via LAN.
    Please give me some hint

I changed the cable connecting the integration with ethm-1 and still nothing.

I added the IP of the computer that connects to the exchange, and now it pops up that the exchange is not ready.

    Maybe someone can help.

Communication problem fixed (after replacing the cable connecting the integrated board with ETHM1 three times, communication started).
I think that the fault lies in the RJ11 plate (as colleagues wrote on the electrode) - I turned the cable to the other side and it's ok.
    But I have another problem.
I updated the INT-TSI keypad (via TSI BUILDER)
    - INT-TSI OS update
    - INT-TSI STM update
I started everything normally, but after half an hour the manipulator spilled out.
    A message pops up:
    Connected to STM v1.2 2016-06-08
The keypad does not support this version
    Update keypad firmware
Re-updating the STM fixes the problem, but after using it for a while, the same problem again.

After the TSI update, was the project in TSI Builder rebuilt and uploaded to the TSI? If not, this is the answer.

    Guys, I updated:
    - INT-TSG keypad
    - Integra 64 plus switchboard

the time has come for ETHM-1 Plus, unfortunately there are stairs

What I did: I disconnected the ethm1 plus from the control panel, I connected this RJ to my cable (on which I updated the integrated) through a connector to two erjotek and nothing. The flashing program does not see ETHM

Do I need a special cable for this? not enough to use what is?

If I understand correctly, you are making a classic mistake. The cable connecting the ethm-1 with the integrated (pin5 rj) is a completely different cable than the one that used to be included in the DB9F/RJ-KPL set.
The cable that is used to flash the module should be white and in the old version it had a green ribbon. The cable for connecting the RS ports of the control panel and the module is a cable with a red ribbon at the factory.
The difference lies in the different connection of the wires in these cables.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this? Mine actually has a red mark on it.

    Interesting...

Something happened to my browser :) PDF won't load, just black screen. It was not the fault of satel.pl, in another browser everything is ok.

As you rightly pointed out, this thread is not about integration.

After typing in google: 5-pin cable socket housing, raster 2.54 mm, my colleague will find such a plug without a problem.

For me it looks like in the pictures, both black wires are not connected.
