Hi, a month ago I took service from upc internet 120mbps / s with their Connect Box router, it's slow and tragic but it worked. Today I came back from vacation and it turned out that the systems were updated and half of the functions disappeared, including port forwarding. This is what happens when you think it can't get any worse. On the hotline, of course, I was beaten because the Internet is provided and the fact that half of the devices can not function is not their problem anymore. Is it possible to replace their router with some other? Or upload older soft?

Unfortunately, this is the operator's equipment and they can do whatever they want with it. It is best to run "modem mode" in the Connect Box and use a separate xDSL router on which there will be no restrictions.

Replace their equipment - NO, upload an older soft - YES, but they can only do it in UPC (you will not do anything yourself) - call the hotline to the technical department from the Internet.
The reason for this is the introduction of ipv6 in UPC - a lot of people have a problem with it, and actually have a problem with it.

As soon as the modem has received a software update, you will not switch it to the modem mode - this possibility has been removed in this case.
You have to call UPC and ask to upload the previous software - and only then switch the box to the modem and connect your own router.
