    Hello,

car as in the subject. At the beginning, it did not light up at all after opening the driver's door, i.e. the standard driver's lock cartridge, new installed. Everything worked out nicely, the light comes on but now, for the change of locking the car, it does not go out.

I checked in the vcds parameters, the cassettes are probably ok because he sees them as they should be closed / open.

The entire control of comfort has remained, but is it really him? Maybe it can be fixed in some way? Is there only the exchange for a stimulant from Allegro?

    His number is:
    1JO959799AH

Thanks in advance for any hint.

I would check the limit switches at the castle. I now had a similar problem on the toledo 2 it did not shine after opening. I had a worn limit switch at the lock, the one mounted on the cable

It goes out in the trunk when you close the hatch (without opening the door)?
It is powered from the same relay in the module.
The lamp in the headliner, in addition to the relay, is also controlled from the transistor, so you have a double protection.
Do you have lamps in the doors or only in the headlining?
    Are they all the same?
Maybe the lamp in the headliner is damaged and the weight is still given or the switch on it is permanently lit.

thanks tomason but as I sanded the lock is new, the most used, i.e. from the driver. The rest in the parameters also looks functional because it shows closed / open.

    ragnik will check tomorrow.

The lamps in the doors are working properly and they go out normally, and then after closing, the lights are on and all 3 lamps, including the side ones.

I saw the lamp itself, I do not see the possibility of it being damaged in such a way that it gives the mass all the time, there are large paths with the naked eye you can see a short circuit to be there. The switch is of course set well ;)

I would ask for a clearer description because it works but does not work.
Which lamp is the problem with?
The problem is when the door is closed or when the car is locked with the key / remote control?
At which point does this light come on?

Front ceiling lamp. It turns on normally, as well as the lights in the doors after opening (it does not light up before replacing the cassette, but it is new). And everything is fine until the car is closed. I close the door and the light does not go out.

A photo of the lamp so that you know exactly what it is about:

    Hello

I have a Leon from 2006 1P and after closing the door, the lamp does not go out (now something has broken and it does not light up)
You have to wait a few dozen seconds.

However, after turning the ignition key, it goes out immediately.

After closing the door with the remote control, it probably also went out, but now I will not cut my hand that it happened immediately.

I am currently looking for info what has broken that it does not raise or remove the key from the ignition, neither the door, nor the central locking.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a 2003 Seat Leon 1.9 TDi experiencing an issue where the interior lighting, specifically the front ceiling lamp, does not turn off after closing the door. Initially, the light did not activate upon opening the driver's door, but after replacing the lock cartridge, it began to function. However, the light remains on after the door is closed. Users suggest checking the limit switches at the door lock and the functionality of the comfort control module. There are inquiries about whether the issue occurs when the car is locked or when the door is closed, and whether the trunk light behaves similarly. One user mentions a related issue with a 2006 Seat Leon model, indicating a potential commonality in the problem across different model years.
