Hello, I have such a problem with the Lenovo y50-70 laptop with the i5-4210H processor version, the gtx 860M graphics card and windows 8.1.
Well, the Host of the local system service, the so-called svchost.exe process, takes 100% of disk resources and 30% of CPU resources
Here screen what services are connected to this process

Which service do you need to disable? Could someone direct me?

    As always, Windows Update.

But first check that no updates are being installed and that WU works at all.

After installing all but the optional updates, there is now a problem with another service that includes Itworeker.exe, but sometimes it disappears and it's okay.
If you know, please let me know what itworker is responsible for in svchoptak for the future

also antimalwere sevice executable can take 100% of disk

Itworeker.exe is related to the updates, are you sure they are all installed? You can also install some optional.

After all are installed, you can turn off Windows Update and turn on only occasionally to check for updates.

With antimalware, this is normal when scanning the disk / files.

I see native Win8 / 8.1 services here, which you probably won't disable without consequences. I already had a case (maybe two) with a new machine and a pre-installed system nomen omen Win8. The computer was updating all working day and I had to stay after hours. Until WindowsUpdate let go of the svchost 90-100% CPU, the fan did a bit of a job. After exhausting all updates, svchost should stop, maybe downtime optional.
Try restarting Windows Update service, or try turning it off and doing so reboot .
