How is the cable detected in the manager?

Before installing cable drivers as "other device", after installing as "com4".

Enter the device ID (pid and vid) from the device manager. It looks like you installed the wrong drivers now that it is detected like this. You have it stated on the page to which I provided the link.

Hello, I have the same problem as my colleague above. Galletto cable is detected as usb serial port. I installed steorniwk ftdi from the website but nothing, and there is nothing to do on the link from the second post?
    Anyone have any drivers?

first I did nothing because windows detected and installed ftdi drivers. Then I downloaded http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm, but still to no avail and detects serial Port as usb, and from what I see on the website it should be different http: //galletto-1260-ecu.blogspot .com / 2015/09 / galletto-1260-ecu-flasher-usb-driver.html

Best to check with XP, you can install XP under vmware and install the cable there.

I think I will, and the attachment you gave will be good for this cable?

It should, and if not, you also have software with drivers on the last page.

I made a machine on vmware with xp and it seems that it solved the problem, the driver from the attachment worked, detects it as ftu device. Now I'm going to the car to check if it detects the ECU in the EDC15, but I think it should be kicking around. So, however, the cable and all the software for XP is only suitable: /

I'm fine in the car, skoda 1.9 TDI PD 131. Opening port imposible is not there, but when I try to download ecu data or read ecu it reaches 4% and stops or crashes the end error from read, what could be the reason?
