    Hello,

I have a problem with VCI detection in Delphi DS150E (New VCI). Everything flashes on the first laptop, but after installing the Delphi program on the second, it does not detect VCI. There was no network when installing, the anti-virus was turned off the firewall as well.
I had to manually install the drivers. In the device manager I have an interface visible as: VCI (Diag ...) COM4. In the program, after searching the ports, it detects COM4 (VCP), but it fails the test, after waiting for about a minute, nothing happens.
Anyone know how to solve this problem because I have no ideas.

    greetings

It looks like there is something wrong with the drivers or the USB cable ..

If it is correctly installed, it is the head's fault, or try to install it on a different computer

I installed autocom / delphi R32013 on the first laptop about a year ago and everything flashes so far, it communicates and passes the test correctly. However, it does not work on other laptops, since it works on the first laptop, the cable will be good. I install the drivers manually, because I get an installation error after connecting the interface. I do not know if it is the fault of the drivers or this head. If the head was damaged, would it communicate and pass the test? Honestly speaking, I got stupid, and I don't know how to solve this problem; /

The problem may be with the drivers?

The manager should show in two places that the head is connected.
From what I remember, the drivers are in the folder where the program is installed.
Show what you can see in the manager.

The problem solved was the fault of the drivers, I installed the ones that were there and everything works as it should. Thanks for your time.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a VCI detection issue with the Delphi DS150E (New VCI) on a second laptop, where the device is not recognized despite successful operation on the first laptop. The user manually installed drivers but encountered a failure during the port test, with the device manager showing the interface as VCI (Diag ...) COM4. Responses suggest potential problems with drivers or the USB cable, and a follow-up indicates that the issue was resolved by installing the correct drivers, leading to successful communication and testing.
