For several months I have had a BETA 25-40 / 180 pump in my installation
It is connected to the Tech ST-431N controller.
They pump the water from the buffer tank and after passing through the 3D valve feed water to the house - to radiators and to the floor.
The pump until yesterday went perfectly on the 1st gear - it consumed about 23W.
has been charging 45W since yesterday in gear 1. Nothing can change the settings, disconnection from the power supply for the whole night also did not help.
The only thing that reduces speed is closing the valve in front of the pump.
But this is not the way to control pump power.
How can you reset this pump so that it changes your thinking?

Hello, are all filters clean? Maybe there is a non-return valve that burns stupid?

I was also just thinking about filters and unscrewed the mesh one but it was clean.
I switched the pump to Auto and also went to max, i.e. 45W. So before the pump and behind the pump I closed the ball valves and set it to 22W.
But why has she been walking normally in normal 1st gear so far?

It's hard to create, something is on, can you ask for some photos of this installation?

    Standard CO installation.
The water goes from the 1000l buffer and goes to the 3D valve, where it is mixed up with the return water. Then valve, filter and pump. Then the valve and then to the radiators and floor.
Until now, everything worked fine on this pump.
When I close the valves before and after the pump, it's OK too.
The main question is: How to reset the pump memory because it is supposedly self-learning?

Do not "stop" on the ball valves. They work 0-1 (open-close). With slight choking, it can "flush" the ball seals and later the valve will not close.

As for the pump is a strange thing - but I will not say it here - I do not like electronic pumps :|

The pump is affected only by closed valves - it is a pity that it is not known to reset it so that it will forget about the current settings :(

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around issues with the IBO BETA 25-40 / 180 pump connected to a Tech ST-431N controller. The user reports an unexpected increase in power consumption from 23W to 45W while operating in gear 1, despite attempts to reset the system and clean filters. The installation involves a standard central heating setup with a buffer tank and a 3D valve. Users suggest that closed valves may be affecting the pump's performance and express concerns about the pump's self-learning feature, which may need to be reset to restore normal operation.
