Good morning, I have a new desktop computer with two graphics cards for a long time, the first is Intel Hd graphics 530 and Nvidia GeForce gtx 1050. When I try to open the Nvidia control panel, I get an error that informs me that the monitor is not connected to this graphics card . The monitor brand is LG IPS FULLHD. I hope I can find help. Thank you in advance.

Connect the monitor to the nVidia card, not to the integrated Intel card.

Then connect the monitor to GTX.

You must use a DVI or HDMI cable.

What exactly is the monitor model?

The GTX1050 does not have a DSUB output, so you connect to an integrated Intel card, and you don't use NVIDIA. You need a DVI-D DVI-D or HDMI DVI-D cable. Connect this cable to the GTX 1050 card, not to the integrated one (it's a completely different set of sockets).

Thanks for the answers I just ordered the cable.

Topic summary

The user is experiencing an issue where their LG monitor does not recognize the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card, displaying an error when attempting to access the Nvidia control panel. The monitor is currently connected via a D-SUB cable to the integrated Intel HD Graphics 530 instead of the GTX 1050. Responses suggest connecting the monitor directly to the GTX 1050 using a DVI-D or HDMI cable, as the GTX 1050 lacks a D-SUB output. The user confirmed the monitor model as LG 22MP48D-P and indicated they ordered the appropriate cable for the connection.
