Hello, I have a problem with connecting a computer to a monitor since yesterday. I unplugged the computer to clean it, plug it back in and the monitor shows no signal, the source is connected to a different input. It is a 144hz LG monitor, the card is Nvidia 1050 Ti, it is connected to hdmi, vga and dvi. I can't change the input except for the two hdmi inputs that are not responding, d-sub and display port. None of these inputs match. I connected an old 60hz monitor with only hdmi and vga and there was no image either. I reset the BIOS with the battery but it didn't work. The computer gives a bios signal, I think there is something with the card, but I'm not sure. I wonder if something suddenly happens after disconnection, but I don't know what the problem is.

Check if any of the PC components have loosened during cleaning (video card, RAM memory) and that all power cable plugs are firmly in their sockets.

Graphics cards have exit , not inputs.

Can you hear a single "beep"? If so, your PC should be fine.

Give me the model and brand of the power supply, please. Motherboard model also.
You wrote in the Hardware section, where you need to provide a full list of components.

I don't know exactly how your cleaning was, what exactly you cleaned and what you disassembled.
As he wrote @ mariuszp19 improve RAM and GPU in slot, power plugs.
I hope you connected the power to the 4-8pin CPU (there would be no beeping then)?

    Nice if you tried DVI.
Post a detailed photo or make a detailed inspection of all PCBs, if you have not broken, for example, some small SMD.

as he wrote @ mariuszp19 I tweaked all the slots and checked that everything was tight. It was hard for me to take a good picture, but maybe you will notice something. It is possible that a small detail flew off during cleaning, but it never happened to me and I didn't do it somehow haphazardly. I did not unfasten the pins during cleaning, only took out the framework and the card.

Remove the GTX from the motherboard and to the DVI / D-SUB output on the motherboard connect the monitor.
Is there then the image from the integrated graphics Intel(R) HD Graphics 530?
    In brief:
I assume a situation that something happened and the GTX card is no longer detected by the motherboard.
In this situation, even with the card inserted, a single BIOS beep will be correct, but the signal will come from the motherboard from the PCI-E card. Such a theoretician.

Thanks, gentlemen, for your help, but the problem was the cable and I don't know if it was damaged before or what, but suddenly after taking it out it did not work as it should.

    Defective dvi cable.

Topic summary

A user experienced a "no signal" issue when connecting an Nvidia 1050 Ti graphics card to an LG 144Hz monitor after cleaning the computer. Despite checking various connections (HDMI, VGA, DVI) and resetting the BIOS, the problem persisted. Responses suggested checking for loose components, ensuring power connections were secure, and testing the integrated graphics. Ultimately, the issue was identified as a defective DVI cable, which was either damaged prior to the cleaning or became faulty during the process.
