There were 2 before the MM or Bosch lift with a power of 800 or 900W. I don't know after the lift. The effect was that at -25 they did not ignite. If you are going to combine it better take the stronger one. Will be a good base. Only places not too rich.

I will connect to the topic, I have punto 2 before the lift, and at -15 the car had a hard time to start, but when it starts, it starts all day without any problems. What type of starter can I have? Born in 2000.

    I have the same at 1.2 16V
Today I fired from the tractor and it turns so poorly and made 1.5 years ago
From what I read someone was installing the grande punto supposedly stronger
The starters differ mainly in the number of teeth on the bendix and the power
It would be good to read the number from the old one and then look for it

For me, the problem with the battery is replaced with a new one 2 weeks ago. There is a thread on the Fiat forum, the guy probably mentioned everything he could and the problem still exists and I suspect that the starter is to blame and there are also opinions about the assembly with GP ;)

MM / denso starters do not have a planetary gear and hence such wonders in the cold with a 44Ah battery
When I had a seicento, I put on the 62Ah battery, it fired without a hitch
And since he drove a lot on the road, he recharged it anyway

Okay, so what's the "antidote" to normal car starting? Replacing the starter with the GP one? A friend wrote that he was firing the battery from the tractor and so weak ...

The ones that went to Scandinavia had 1.5kW. And it worked. You can always take a stronger one and make a hybrid. The head and the Będnix must match. And the rotor and stator more powerful. At home, like a few years ago, it was a stronger winter, unfortunately I had to give a farelka under the bowl for 15 minutes to heat the oil and fire. Later I put on the parking heater, with the exhaust pipe pointing towards the oil pan. And he fired. That's why I gave up on a more powerful starter.
A larger or a second battery does nothing. Thick oil does not allow the engine to start up to the appropriate speed due to insufficient power of the starter.

I wonder what the Ruthenians drive in Vladivostok or Arkhangelsk?

Either they don't put out the cars on the road or they use Webast with "in the morning".

Secondly, this morning at my place -26'C and both cars standing outside dusted off as needed.
Then the heater comes into operation and the car has a normal temperature after 5 minutes.

Yes S114-903 has 3 brushes, including 2 plus ones, and a brush holder with a third brush, SBH 4006.

If you have a functional starter and battery, it will start at - 30 'C.

Above you have the opinion that not necessarily, these starters are too weak.

In the description, it has 0.8kw
