Hello, I'm trying to connect a chandelier and a connector.
I reviewed several topics in the forum and I am close, but something is missing.

I have 3 wires on the ceiling and in the box.
Black, red and .... yellow or yellowed over time - it's hard to tell.
    Black is the phase.
I connected the black from the bottom of the connector, and the other two - red and yellow in the holes at the top.

Chandelier connection should be rather standard i.e.
    Cube 4 pins.
    1.1 brown
    2.2 brown
    3.3 blue
    4.1 yellow

Both brown are phased, blue zeros.

I connected black and yellow to 1 and 2, and red to 3.
With this arrangement, after clicking the button one bulb lights up, and when you click the other one, the same one is lit only that it is stronger.

It is obvious that something is wrongly connected and here I have a question.
I know that yellow is theoretically the protective one, but I'm not sure it's yellow and the installation is old.

Does the phase of the can only on black mean that red is zero and yellow probably PE?

In the other room, the wires are the same, but the chandelier is only connected to black and red, because there is a single switch with a dimmer.

Do not suggest colors, you need to check all the wires (which, for what, etc.), you can draw it, describe it and then how 100% you will know which wire is zero, which is current, and which "correspondent", then connect according to the scheme that can be found on the web. If you are not sure how to do it correctly, ask an electrician, because it is difficult to advise from a distance and it can cause shock!

I managed. I could not do it because the neon lamp had fallen in the meantime and hence the problems arose.
