    Hello to all forum users.

I am writing hopefully that after visits to a few workshops + Peugeot ASO Krakow service, someone may have had a similar problem and will solve the puzzle. So far, I have traveled from 15,000 and every time I hear "drive, maybe it breaks down and then you will know what" Apparently ok, but you know how it is - after a while this problem gets in your head and you want to know where you stand. Unfortunately, I still don't know.

The problem: something like ticking appears at around 2,000 revolutions. Audible from inside, from the center of the engine.

    When braking with the engine
When driving in each gear in the regions of 2, 3 thousand, when the gas is released - cycles / rattling are heard
In every gear, when you reach optimal speed

When the car speeds up - you can't hear it
    When I push the clutch - I can't hear

At ease in the register 2, 3 thousand can be heard clearly.

NOBODY yet knows what it is. On the ASO website, they went, they say, we don't know, drive, I thought the hell would hit me.

If anyone had an idea or suggestion, it would be wonderful.

    Thank you in advance.

Thank you, but that's not it. The timing chain also seemed 99% guilty of this ticking, but it turns out to be not that. I went to three different places last month.

The timing chain (and earlier belt) and tensioner were changed.
    Valves / tappets
    Incandescent world replaced

Still nothing. There is this sound all the time. In one place, the pump was suspected, but immediately in another ASO they said that the pump is OK.

It turns into a real mystery. I will be very grateful for any ideas and tips.

The "butterfly / cross" between the pump and the shaft proved to be a problem. Not a pump, not a validator, valves or timing chain. Part is the size of a zippo lighter, it costs around PLN 80. None of the services - I was in 8 places in total, including 2 ASOs - they were not able to trace the problem, but they wanted to replace half of the car they wanted. I also warn against people who take money for something they should know about and wish them good luck. Maybe it will help someone.
