hello I have a problem how to connect a car camera.
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/160-12V-HD-1080P-Au...hograph-Kit-/162115231600?fits=Car+Make%3ABMW 7CModel 3AX5%%%% 7CPlat_Gen 3AE70 & hash = item25bed21f70: g: G50AAOSwjXRXbN0X
I bought this webcam as it is from China, there is no understandable instructions. I have 4 cables 12V bat, GND, 12V ACC, and IR
I guess connect a 12V bat to the plus where the electricity is all the time,
GND is a minus / ground,
12V ACC is a plus after turning the ignition switch,
I don't know what to connect the cable with the IR marking to
If I made a mistake, let me know and correct me. Can I handle it all from the fuse box? and maybe it's better to take 12V ACC and GND from the lighter (if I turn the ignition switch then there is voltage)
    Thank you for your help

More I meant that this cable can give a signal to control additional IR lighting as it is too dark, but you would have to check it in practice because all the images of the cables that this camera has only 3 wires.

This camera does not have such lighting, so you would have to buy and install an additional device

Hello again, work a little absorbed me :D
Today, I tried to take a camera and cycle quite a sharp photo - sorrka those photos which I had previously inserted from the phone sucked nothing can be seen on them.
I don't have any instructions, that's why I'm writing here, so I would know. On Saturday I will probably try to connect it and see if it works without this IR cable. I have written to the seller and I hope he will write something back.

WoW, if you read it, I have no idea. Thank you very much, I guess I don't have to whip up, unless I connected the radio to the image on the SatNav display.

I searched Google a bit and the only thing I can say is that this cable is probably triggered by a camera signal from some impact sensor or motion detector.

Hello. I do not want to create a new topic because it is about connecting the camera. I installed a reversing camera to Mazda3. Everything works beautifully. The daughter additionally bought a webcam forward in the Mazda logo. Unfortunately there is nowhere to connect it. I found an interesting converter for two cameras. Before I buy it, I would like to know how to connect it. I mean that the rear camera is 6V and the front is 12V.
