    Hello.
I purchased Viofo video recorder. I would like to connect it permanently to the car. I got to the fuse baypass kit and some adapter, which changes the voltage from 12v to 5v and protects the battery against discharging (everything in the pictures) now how do you connect everything to get your hands and feet?
    The car is BMW e60.

Black to ground, red to be connected to the adapter (bypass) and plugged into the fuse compartment in one of the terminals (30 - if it is to be powered without interruption, if it is to be powered from the ignition), and the fuse is connected to the adapter.

So I have to attach to fuse No. 30 if I do?
For me, this fuse is from the action of ABS

No. 30 is the popular name of cables in the car connected directly to the battery. With a lamp / lamp, check which fuse is under voltage with the ignition off.

Markings 15, 30, ... do not concern the numbering of fuses, they are designations of the installation according to DIN 72552

Okay, as I understand it. So I have a fuse from a telephone that has a voltage without a key. So, here I can do it? Is there any vacancy?
Forgive my stupid questions, but I prefer to ask twice than regret especially that the BMW electronics are more delicate than the egg.

Topic summary

The discussion focuses on the permanent installation of a Viofo video recorder in a BMW e60 using a fuse bypass kit and a voltage adapter. The installation process involves connecting the black wire to ground and the red wire to the adapter, which should be plugged into a suitable terminal in the fuse compartment. Users clarify that terminal 30 is connected directly to the battery, and it is important to identify a fuse that remains powered without the ignition. The conversation emphasizes caution due to the delicate nature of BMW electronics.
