It depends on what layout you have there. I don't do radio, but 24CXX, 24XX, 93CXX are popular circuits and sometimes you just need a simple programmer. First you need to know what you want to read.

Hello. The memory is FIS, and it reads like 24c32. Because the author of the post will ask the question that there is no 8 pin memory there, which can be seen in the attached pictures at a friend's coperfild. Best regards.

it means that 4 pins should I connect to the programmer and give power on the radio as it is in the picture ?? I just need a programmer for that?
what does it plug in there can I buy such contacts for connection?

Hello. What 4 pins? after all, you have three pins SDA, SCL, GND. If this programmer reads the I2C bus, you can easily connect. Best regards.

Hello. Yes you still need to connect GDN or ground. Best regards.

One more question, does the radio have to be completely assembled?

UFF succeeded, I read ch341a programmer memory, I have this bin file, and now what should I do there exactly ?? Can I change and save it with this program? I upload a file, a picture from the program and ask for help

I mean, should I find a bin file from another radio and upload or replace lines 20, 40, and 60 from the radio with a known code ?? can you put it in manually ??
Can it be read with some calculator ??

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around reading the BIN file from the MFD2 radio, with users seeking advice on suitable programmers. Key components mentioned include memory types such as 24C32 and FIS, which are essential for interfacing with the radio. Users clarify the necessary connections for programming, specifically the SDA and SCL pins, along with the ground (GND). After successfully reading the memory using a CH341A programmer, the author inquires about modifying the BIN file, including replacing specific lines with known codes. The conversation highlights the importance of using the correct memory layout and tools for successful data extraction and modification.
