HDMI connection - SONY TV - YAMAHA RX-V481 receiver - no picture

Hello

I have a problem connecting the Sony KDL 55W829b TV with the Yamaha RX-V481 home cinema system and I have a Samsung BD-J7500 Blu-ray player.

Well, I have the following connections. The HDMI cable exits the TV from the HDMI ARC output to the port on the HDMI OUT HDCP2.2 receiver. I do not use an optical cable. Then, with the second cable, I connect the receiver with HDMI cable from port 1 (BD / DVD) with Samsung Blu-ray with HDMI OUT 1 MAIN (Anynet +) port. With this configuration, HDMI OUT is displayed in red on the receiver's display.

The problem is that with the help of the remote control from the YAMAHA receiver I should turn on the TV and I can not, I have no picture or sound. I will add that using the remote control from the YAMAHA receiver I can turn on Radio, Internet Radio and Blu-ray. However, to turn on the TV and have the image and sound I have to take the TV remote control and choose the TV source. Then everything is OK. And it seems to me that using the remote control from the receiver I should also turn on the image and sound from the TV. And this message on the display is still something that is not right.

Generally, everything sounds fine but not entirely.

Maybe the problem is not so much in connecting devices as in the receiver's menu settings?

You should connect the HDMI cable from the TV from the HDMI ARC input to the port on the HDMI OUT HDCP2.2 receiver. Just a typo.

But as far as I know the TV has outputs and not inputs.

Hmm, to be honest, I didn't know before that there were only outputs on the TV. And in the attached photo I have written entries and what do you say?

I did not take a picture from connecting to the TV but I have 100% connected to HDMI ARC on the TV. As I wrote, when I choose the TV source by remote control as on one of the TV screens from the source menu, I have a picture and sound. All OK. Only I would like to use the remote control from the receiver to choose to watch TV because I have such a button so you can somehow. And secondly, it burns in the HDMI OUT receiver on the red so something is wrong.

Maybe I have to bury something in the settings / options of the receiver because as I described everything works only with the ampli remote control I can not turn on the image from the TV.

I don't think anything worked. I can't use the TV remote control to switch on the TV image using the TV button. Can you see the settings or everything OK? And what to choose in the Video Out settings? I can choose: AV1, AV2, AV3, AV4, HDMI1, HDMI2, HDMI3, HDMI4 or OFF because I have no idea. And do I have AV2 in the TV Audio Input section?



Strange thing because if I press BD / DVD and some movie from USB via Bluray, I have a picture on the TV.
