    As in the topic, I replaced the digitizer and did a hard reset because I had in the manual that came with it that some phones may require it for the touch to work. But it didn't do anything. I have also uploaded various software, including 4 files and nothing.

    I have not changed because I already have glued. Everything on the original was only the one I have now, it's not kuma. The original is probably not because I bought it on the Allegro.

    you probably have a crazy touch, case number two xcovers are two versions but unfortunately I do not know that the touches go interchangeably

    This touch I bought is exactly for the model I have. Apparently with it there was this instruction that after assembly you should make a hard reset to start working, but unfortunately it did not help.

    I peeled off the digitizer again and washed the display connector and the one that connects the digitizer with the display via IPA and everything works.

    I have the same problem, but cleaning the connectors didn't help. If I hook up the old digitizer, the touch works. What can I do ?

    Edit: I cannot do a hard reset either, because after pressing vol up + home + power the phone will turn on and off.

    Not every touch bought online for the same model is original. Actually, few are original at the moment. I haven't been buying on Allegro for a long time, eBay is more reliable, but not always. Seek out the originals at times ...

    When it comes to replacements for this model, it is rarely defective.

    Please note that there are two versions of the G388f and G389f models. The touch for the G389f will not work with the G388f.
    It is also important that the touch does not "touch" the display - this may result in the loss of touch function.
    In this model, often (if you are not careful) when mounting, the touch tape slides out of the socket, so you should protect yourself against it by fastening the clip holding the tape or stick it ;)
