    Hi :)

Soon I will be changing the ceramic hob to induction.
Unfortunately, my pots are not suitable for induction, but on the Internet I have come across an "invention" in the form of a stainless steel plate which is placed under the pot so that you can use old pots.

Is it not enough to order stainless steel to size for each pot, let's say 5mm thick, ground on the edges, which would not scratch it? Additionally, attach it permanently to the pot and thus adapt the old pots to the new plate?

:) What do you think about it ? How to, if necessary, fix such tiles permanently?

And you think it will be cheaper? Just have as many washers as you have burners-heating zones in your oven. Plus, you don't have to worry about how to attach it.

Yes, but a ready-made mousepad costs about PLN 70-100 ;)
Maybe you are right to buy 4 pieces for the burners, although I have no more than 4-5 pots that I care about ;)
Do you think that an ordinary 5mm stainless steel plate is enough?

And there will not be too much energy and heat loss on this invention?
