    Hello
Quite a popular topic but I can't get along with the clock.
When using the computer for a few minutes after setting it is ok, after about 30 minutes the clock goes back by an hour, and without using the time stands still.
I replaced the battery on the disk, it did not help, I scanned the system with anti-virus twice, nothing helped, I turned off clock synchronization with the net, it still did not help.
Any suggestions on what to do?
    Regards

What time zone do you have set?
Does the clock only change in the system or in the BIOS?

The clock goes back on its own :?:

    So it rejuvenates you ;-)
Try to perform a CMOS reset through the jumper.

    How is this done?
I turn off the computer, translate the verse to the appropriate pins, start the computer and? what's next ?

    Added after 44 [seconds]:

About sh * t something happened because suddenly I have the current time and I just looked at my computer :D

So it remains to monitor the situation ;-)

It's funny but I've had balls for four days and it's been ok for a few minutes, funny weird but true.

Did you measure the voltage of a battery with a meter before inserting it into the plate?
    It should be 3V.

Or maybe the contacts have become dull in the battery socket.

    OK.

    If it happened again, write.

I reset the bios with the jumper as in the link, but I do not know why after the restart I had 23:03 and it was 23:30, because when the bios reset should also reset the system hour?
By the way, I had synchronization with the net enabled.

    So there was no reset.
The time should reset to the default 00:00 (generally) and default date.
And the date has probably been correct / present.

    Yes
strange because the verse was left for 3 / 5minutes
Do I need to remove the battery when resetting the jumper? because the power turned off

    Added after 4 [minutes]:

I will add that the bios settings have been reset and the time / date has not

    Remove.
After performing the reset, you will insert it again. No problem.

So I did, bios settings have been reset, including time / date (2013year etc.)
The above date is random or maybe related to the "creation" of the disc (programmed or something similar)?

    Added after 4 [minutes]:

We'll see what time it will be in the morning and what will happen tomorrow.

It is usually associated with the creation of the disc, provided that you have not manually updated the BIOS, e.g.

I only updated from the downloaded software from the manufacturer, which is not manual because if it were anyway, I would have had yesterday's date :D
    So far it's calm.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a Windows 7 clock issue where the system time resets or freezes after a period of inactivity. The user has already replaced the battery and performed antivirus scans without success. Responses suggest checking the time zone settings, verifying the BIOS clock, and performing a CMOS reset. The user confirmed that the BIOS time was incorrect and attempted a reset, but the system time did not revert to default as expected. Suggestions included measuring the battery voltage and ensuring proper contact in the battery socket. The user noted that after resetting the BIOS, the time was still not accurate, leading to further inquiries about the reset process and its effects on the system clock.
