    Hello

How to disable the wmpnscfg.exe process so that it does not start with the system. It is not visible in Windows options, just like in Ccleaner. The registry in Run / RunOnce is also empty. I have disabled media streaming in Windows media player, but the wmpnscfg process keeps popping up.

Welcome. This process probably runs as a service. Check the services and if you find such a service, disable automatic start for Windows Media Player network sharing service .

Perhaps you can turn it off too:
Windows Media Player -> Library -> Media Sharing ... -> uncheck "Share my media".

I only have such options in the library options
I also checked in the task schedule and there the "UpdateLibrary" option for which this process is responsible is also turned off.

In that case, check that you have the service I mentioned enabled in your services.

He got it m that you have Win10? Download a few tools: 10AppsManager, ProcessExplorer, and preferably a set of tools prepared by Windows programmers: SysinternalsSuite. The only problem is that if you are a regular user of Microsoft's win10 virus, then without someone who knows how to reboot your system and disable its spyware features, you won't be able to do it.

The file can be used to hide malware files [what is the location of this file?], I suggest checking Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and AdwCleaner.

Scanning Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and Antivirus did not detect anything. On the English-language forum I found information that someone had a problem adding new songs to their library at WMP. As I don't use WMP, I deleted the library from Media Player's memory. After deleting files from appdata> local> Windows> Media Player, this process is only visible in C: Windows> Preftech in the task manager, I did not notice it starting.

    --------------------------------

Today, before turning on the computer, I disconnected the router and the process did not get up with the system, but when I connected it, it started. In the attachments I put the FRST logs, if the logs are clean, I will give up this process

If the Administrator / Moderator could move to the appropriate section I would be grateful.
