What kind of bench drill do you recommend for such amateur jobs from time to time.
I am interested in something similar to how yesterday in Lidl was sold on promotion - unfortunately I was late and in a similar price range of PLN 300-400
What is the best in this price range from the electric garbage on the Allegro called a bench drill?

    Welcome.

Nutool 452 is comparable equipment in terms of parameters, but the price is higher, twice. It depends what you want to do.

As I said before, sometimes you have to drill a hole in the metal and the price is quite affordable. Mark that I am not looking for equipment that will work 8 hours a day, but only amateurs from time to time, and what do you think about something like that?

If for sporadic drilling with a drill up to fi 10, it's ok. Don't count on that using a drill with a fi 16 you can drill with this machine, unless you stop drilling every 1 mm. My advice is, look for a used WS 15 drill.

As for the power they give - 1450 W - I wouldn't believe it. Some time ago I assumed a similar topic, with a question about an identical drill with equally amazing power, forum members knocked the idea out of my head. I even called the seller, he could not confirm such power.

How much does the photo have to cost?
I decided on the simplest cake drill for 320 zlotys, at the beginning it was enough, now not anymore, I have it for sale by the way, if you are interested, write at PW. It is still under warranty, I used it maybe 10 times.

I will check it out of my curiosity.

Available in castorama, for 200 PLN I will give back, I bought probably in September 2016, I would dig up an invoice.

Power 350 W, max. 13 mm drill bits.

I tried to drill a piece of flat steel (I do not know the grade) with a 10mm HSS drill - hmm, this is not industrial equipment, engine power may be enough but the construction is not stiff enough, so I switched to ZX7016 (popular Zośka). On the other hand, no one has to drill a 10mm hole in one go.

For amateur drilling in wood, soft metals, steel (for several passes), it certainly will suit. Accuracy up to about 0.5 mm can be achieved.

    What did you finally buy?

It's cool - but it's not the price league. The new one is probably PLN 1,400.

It's cool - but it's not the price league. Operating immediately, it is over PLN 1,000 lightly.

Together with decent accessories (machine vice, ER chuck, drill chuck, etc.) it is twice as much. And in a moment something will be missing :)

I gave maybe 1800 zlotys for my purchase and I already bought accessories for 1000 zlotys.

    Still, it's worth the price.

Better WS (stimulant) or Zośka (new) - assume that for the same price? And why ?

    It's hard to answer clearly.
Depends on what to use, drilling? Milling? Both?
Will it be a gainful job or a hobby?

    I would take Zośka again.

If I were to earn on it and need a TABLE DRILL, I would buy WS, if it was necessary to mill, I would look for something better :)

I have a ZX7016 drill and milling machine for 400V. I'm converting it to the CNC. Before the conversion, I checked its possibilities and I recommend it for the money it is acceptable.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around recommendations for bench drills suitable for amateur use within a budget of PLN 300-400, particularly in light of a recent Lidl promotion. Users suggest various models, including the Nutool 452, which is noted for its higher price but comparable specifications. Concerns are raised about the power claims of certain drills, with skepticism regarding a 1450W rating. Recommendations include the WS 15 and ZX7016 models, with users emphasizing the importance of considering the intended use, such as drilling in wood or soft metals. The ZX7016 is highlighted as a good option for its price and capabilities, especially for hobbyists. Overall, the consensus is to prioritize durability and functionality over power ratings for occasional use.
