Many thanks I have noticed a weird behavior. This TV has 3D functionality. So when I tried a 3D movie, it worked perfectly with no flickering. So I wonder if the problem is with the powerboard or something else.

I've had Samsung ue40d6100SK TV for around 4 years. It had been working fine till last evening when all of a sudden it started showing horizontal lines on the top half of the screen. I also came across a few posts which state that cutting a jumper on the powerboard resolves the issue. However, I don't have that jumper on my board. This TV has Bn44-00482b powerboard.

Please help.
