Hello, I became the owner of a 1Gb / 1Gb link with upc I bought a DRAYTEK vigor 2920 with two 1 Gb WAN links, as it turned out it was not a good purchase for my link.
I am asking for help in choosing the router, I am thinking about MIKROTtik RB3011, RB1100 or CCR1009-8G-1S-1S +
there will be about 30 computers in the network, I want the router to use the full bandwidth of the link, and not to limit the link I DRAYTEK which only in the manual has gigabit wan support.
I am most inclined to RB3011 because of the price, but if you advise that it is impossible, of course you will buy something better. Thank you in advance for your help.

In the described situation and from these 3 models it is definitely CCR.
It depends a bit on what you want to do with it.
You can also buy a soft mikrotik and run it on some PC, they also sell the same licenses.

Ask on Trzepak.pl for the performance of 3011 and 1100. There are people who make small medium networks should know these routers from experience.

Normally it is enough to order a pull-up fiber and there is :)

It's a fact Draytek - Gigabit Wan only has the manual. I have also cut myself on this topic.
With a 100/100 link, the 2920 router can only pull out 60/60. Massacre.
    What did you finally buy?

I will join the question of RB3011, RB1100 or CCR1009-7G-1C-1S +, it is supposed to support three links from operators for about 80 computers, currently I work on RB2011UiAS.

Apparently, processor multithreading does not matter on basic network services.

The 1 giga link is currently being tested. I was one of the testers. For individual customers, it has the parameters of 1000/40. Speedtests showed me 840 (920) / 39 (42). Upc equipment set up as a modem and connected to the Asus RT AC66U. Officially, gigabytes cannot be bought yet.

Topic summary

The discussion centers around selecting an appropriate router for a 1Gb/1Gb UPC link, particularly comparing the DRAYTEK Vigor 2920 with MIKROTIK models RB3011, RB1100, and CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+. The DRAYTEK Vigor 2920 is criticized for not fully utilizing the bandwidth, with users reporting it only achieving 60/60 Mbps on a 100/100 link. Recommendations lean towards the MIKROTIK CCR series for better performance, with suggestions to consider the RB3011 for its cost-effectiveness. Users also mention the possibility of using soft Mikrotik on a PC for testing purposes. Additional insights include the importance of multithreading in network services and the current limitations of UPC's gigabit offerings.
