Hello! I would like to get an opinion on the failure rate of this engine, and what kind of combustion is worth pushing at all into this engine and this car model? Will the owners of this car speak? What are the ills of this car? What do you think is the value of this car in good condition with this engine from the early years of production before the lift? Thank you in advance for your feedback and best regards.

    Focus in volva leather.
Engine for me one of the best on the market, withstand calmly 500,000 km with reasonable service intervals.

Generally a good engine but there are problems. Look for versions without DPF but not where it has been removed.

The weak side of the injection, the pouring injection can damage the piston, and then it is already replacing the engine, I passed the injection myself, poured a hole, piston hole and blurred the engine

This is not a volvo. I recommend v70 or other D5 163 horses engine. Older cars, reliable, without additional inventions.

V70 and S40 are cars from another fairy tale but it would be long to write and probably there would be a lot of supporters of S40, V50. As for the injection, I can confirm that there are their faults but there are no cars that do not break at all. Injections can be bought relatively cheaply so that you do not miss any symptoms that may indicate damage to the injections.
