    Hello, today I noticed that on windows 10, the downloads folder has changed its name to downloads. The worst thing is that I only have the Easeus installer downloaded a few days ago (not launched). It cleared all my content, and I had some important files there.

    Has anyone in you met with such a case?

    Both of these directories are definitely there, you just have to look for them. If you want to protect yourself against arbitrary selection of a location unknown to you, set browsers to ask for each download location to save downloaded files.

    I forgot to add that I have a problem with Windows 10. I have never encountered something like this, even on another system, I have been using 10 wines since the premiere.

    @McMarycha I use ninja sporadically, but it has a hard location on a different drive, never caused any problems

    @Kolobos I do not have, I have only downloaded from February 8, I have all previous ones removed (I do not remember deleting anything)

    @iagre I am looking everywhere, I have run out of ideas, if only my files disappeared, I would have chosen to delete them somehow, but I always had "Downloads"

    I uploaded the desktop.ini file with:
    [.ShellClassInfo]
    LocalizedResourceName = @% SystemRoot% \ system32 \ shell32.dll, -21798
    IconResource =% SystemRoot% \ system32 \ imageres.dll, -184

    Now it shows my downloads, but where are my files I still don't know. Are there any logs regarding file operations in the windows, something like deleted files saved?
