    Good morning to all users,
I am looking for and I am looking for it, and despite a lot of similar topics, I do not get it in any way, hence my topic and a hot request to all professionals and people who are luring these topics for help, because I am a total layman.
Namely, the question I have is how to combine 5.1 home cinema (Samsung) with the receiver (Samsung HT-X30), a TV decoder (ADB 5810 CD) and a TV (Samsung LE32R88BD), so that:
    - including the TV set and the set-top box, the receiver started up from the machine and the sound went through the cinema (not through the TV speakers) - if at all it can be so.
At present, this is like in the pictures - the professional from the television hooked in when connecting the decoder and yes, everything works, but the sound flies through the serial TV speakers, and the receiver and the cinema in total dust most of the time.

The picture of TV connectors is not clear - I will add clearer after coming home from work. I will also supplement the topic with tv and receiver models if there are such requirements.

    Greetings.

The cinema will not turn on itself. You have to do it manually. The easiest way to connect is the chinch-chinch cable from the decoder under the aux 2 in the cinema.

In the cinema and in the decoder you have a digital output and optical input :P SPDIF

Well, there is an optical output in the decoder (cable covered). And connect it all with tv with hdmi cables.

So how should I understand this? I am going to close the decoder with the receiver with the hdmi cable (I have such a 2x hdmi cable) according to @ andpol33 (green diagram), or SPDIF optical cable as it wrote @ wciełek1 (schematic red)?

I repeat my request for understanding, because for me all this is black magic ;) the cable is a cable - for ch drill :P

Hdmi in this home cinema is not just an exit. So it will not work.

Connect according to the red line. And the HDMI from the decoder is at the top connected to the TV and that's it.

According to my colleague, this is the best solution? I dares doubt ...
It is correct, but only correct, does not generally solve the problem.
For example - how will the sound be transferred to the cinema if the TV is connected via HDMI, eg a BR player?
I will not mention that the combination of picture and sound synchronization often occurs with this combination.

It is possible, the situation is facilitated by the fact that TV and KD are the same company.

    Hyh, "professional" ...
Why did he use the Euro connection if you can use HDMI?

    But there ...

I would buy 2 HDMI cables and one TosLink optical cable on my colleague's site.

    The colleague will connect;
    - KD from TV - HDMI1 socket
    - decoder with TV - HDMI2 socket -> (*)
    - KD from TV - optical cable

Any HDMI connections with devices turned off!
(*) - in the decoder, the video output settings should be changed to HDMI
In the decoder, also set the audio output setting to HDMI.

Once your friend has the image / sound from the decoder on the TV with the HDMI connection, please disconnect the EURO cable.

Then read the instructions from TV and KD - I am thinking here of activating AnyNet + (HDMI-CEC) in both devices.
And the appropriate changes in the cinema settings - manual -> Using AnyNet +
    Similarly on a television.

    Good luck :)

PS. The mentioned receiver and home cinema is the same device?
The description is quite misleading, and the receiver can not be seen in the pictures.

Thanked for the comprehensive info, the optical cable I have to buy a 2x toslink or toslink-mini jack?

Ad.PS yes, speaking of an amplifier, I mean DVD player from home theater - if I mistakenly call these devices it is pardon ;)

    A colleague needs a 2 x Toslink cable - a typical optical cable.

It is better to call this device a home cinema - as a whole.

And a small addition to the previous entry - the decoder will still have to be turned on by its remote control.
Control of devices after HDMI works only on a pair of selected devices.
Also in this case it will be TV and home cinema, ie turning on the TV will turn on the home theater.

This is already acceptable, at the moment I have to run the TV and the set-top box separately with 2 remote controls.

I understand that this is because only after getting the sound and video through the HDMI cable otherwise I could not change the decoder settings (until I change the settings, the picture despite the connected HDMI cable is sent by SCART?)?

Does disconnection need to be turned off to disconnect SCART?

    So it is.
I do not have to add that the appropriate HDMI input must be enabled on TV after changing the settings in the decoder :)

Ok, for now, thank you for the advice, I'll come back home, I'll start playing with the cables. I'm a bit scared of burying TV settings, decoder and cinema because I do not know it, but oh, I think I'm gonna take it slow ;)

There is nothing to be afraid of.
    Everything is for people.
Please, study the instructions of the equipment carefully and with understanding.
And even if something is not set correctly, the equipment will not spoil.
At most, it will not work as expected.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around connecting a Samsung 5.1 Home Cinema system with a Samsung HT-X30 receiver, an ADB 5810 CD decoder, and a Samsung LE32R88BD TV. Users seek guidance on achieving automatic sound output through the home cinema instead of the TV speakers. Key suggestions include using HDMI cables for video connections and an optical (Toslink) cable for audio from the decoder to the receiver. It is noted that the receiver must be manually turned on, and proper settings adjustments on the decoder and TV are necessary to ensure sound synchronization and functionality. Users emphasize the importance of understanding device settings and connections to avoid issues.
