I have a question. Well, I'm going to buy a soundbar and connect it with an optical cable with a decoder, because my TV does not have such an input. Will this configuration work and will the TV speaker be off? The television is a manta 32lhn48l, while the soundbar is Hitachi AXS014BTU, and the decoder is the ADB 1721C model.

In fact, this TV has a Coax type digital audio output. "Electrical".

This will work, but only with a decoder. All other devices connected to the TV will not work with the sound bar.

I reviewed the data of the devices owned by a colleague and there are a number of options here - a colleague will choose the one that suits him best:

    - obtain the Coax IN -> OPt Out converter and connect the TV with the sound-bar directly.
    - connect the decoder with the sound-bar with an optical cable - reservation as above.
    - this sound-bar also has analogue inputs and TV has headphone output. Appropriate cables are included in the sound-bar, as shown in the manual.

If the sound will be connected to the soundbar from the decoder then the sound on tv should be muted. In general, I do not recommend soundbars, unless it is used as a central speaker supported by separate front speakers where you can get the right base for stereo listening.

Another question is whether the use of analog connection will significantly deteriorate the sound quality relative to the optical?

An analog connection will not degrade the sound quality, although it may be susceptible to interference from other devices under special conditions, so I recommend using an optical cable that is not susceptible to interference.

This is relative. It all depends on the "ear quality".
Many people can hear the difference in sound quality.
