You saw his catalog notes under the link - link . The only thing I noticed was the ability to read his name. Anyway, the PIN can only be read, not changed.
I wanted to use this module to recognize the owner's phone, but one user made me aware that the module after the loss of bluetooth connection is broadcast for other devices. The subject is here: link
Can you describe your listening experience, sound quality? Have you used any RC filter on the audio output?
I also searched similar audio modules and the description of AT commands is repeated. Such cheap modules cannot be fully configured. The only one I've found is a bit more expensive but offering much more from Kamammi

    Hello,
With a little practice and light SMD soldering skills you can easily change the name, for example I changed to "Bluetooth Audio". Just make a memory dump, look for BK8000L in it, then change it to anything, and upload the software back. This is a standard 25qXX flash, it can be easily connected to Arduino and program there. If you are interested I can send the program to Arduino which will allow you to easily change the name.

Select all HEX, copy and paste to HxD program and save as bin. I recommend the EZP2010 programmer

The discussion revolves around the BK8000L Bluetooth module, specifically regarding the possibility of changing its default name displayed on connected devices. Users share their experiences with the module, noting its affordability and functionality, with a range of up to 10 meters. Some participants confirm that it is indeed possible to change the module's name by performing a memory dump and modifying the firmware using an Arduino setup. However, there are challenges related to UART communication and the need for specific programming tools. Recommendations for programmers and methods to extract and modify the module's memory are provided, along with inquiries about volume settings stored in memory.
