Hello. I have such a problem, the point is that I replaced the parking bulbs in the car and from the registration backlight to Ledy. Everything is OK . I also decided to replace it in the interior lighting, i.e. in the headliner. Here is the problem, so I replaced the bulbs with LEDs in the backlight at the front and everything is fine. Everything works, but when I replace it in the headliner at the back, there is a problem :( the fuse burns and when you insert a larger one it burns that Leda. What to do ? There is also LED in the glove box and the boot and it's okay. I even did so that I took out all the LEDs from the lighting and put only these two LEDs on the back and also the fuse was burning. What is a cause of it ?

Led consumes a lot less current than a regular light bulb, so the only possibility is that you are somehow doing a short circuit in the socket. Maybe the lamp housing somehow supplies the voltage inside the led (in front of the resistor) because probably this is the only way to explain the burning of a 12v led installation at 12 Volt

This is how it looks. After inserting Ledy, it doesn't matter which fuse blows

Turn to the opposite side or cover one of the LED wires, times 2. See how the wires are arranged in the bulbs and how in the led in your photo.
On one side you have two wires, and look at the holder that contacts these two wires at once, + and -.
These leds have contact wires on both sides? Total 4 contact points? You make a short circuit with this led. The bulbs have only two points, and it seems to be on opposite sides, and this holder is a bit strange, certainly not for these leds.

I guess I'll have to buy these 2 Philips. I did it with these wires so that it was like a normal light bulb and after inserting these leds barely glowed. Almost invisible.

    These LEDs normally shine elsewhere?
Bulbs light up normally? Because I don't know how many times you can short it yourself, and when it flies something with a fuse.

They normally operate in parking spaces, in the backlight of the registration, in the interior lighting in the front, in the trunk and in the storage space and in this lighting the interior at the rear do not want to work.

This is what it looks like. After inserting a Led, no matter which fuse blows

Which specific fuse is burning for you because I have the same problem

Do you see the difference? Because only two LEDs from "my" photos will work with this lamp, due to its construction.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around issues faced when replacing interior lighting bulbs with LEDs in an Opel Astra H GTC. The user successfully replaced parking and front interior lights but encountered problems with the rear headliner lights, causing fuses to blow. Responses suggest that the issue may stem from a short circuit due to incorrect wiring or LED compatibility with the existing lamp holder. Recommendations include checking the wiring arrangement and considering conventional bulbs like Philips for compatibility. The user confirmed that other LED installations in the vehicle function correctly, indicating a localized issue with the rear headliner setup.
