Hello, I am looking for an assembly manual for the FAAC D600 gate drive in power failure situations, the included manual is practically unreadable, maybe someone of you has experience in installing such a rope. best regards

You need to thread the rope with a "ball" ending through a part of the cart and hook it to the (probably) red moving element in its upper part. To do this, you need to use the oval technological hole in the upper part of the rail.

Does it involve removing the guide? I have access to this oval hole (the guide is suspended from the ceiling) but I think I need to slide the moving element (sledge) out of the guide to attach the cable. Am I right?

You don't have to disassemble anything. It will be most convenient when you disengage the drive and disconnect the trolley from the gate. Hook the rope through the hole to the trolley element and move it with the rope to the place where you need to thread its other end through the other point in the sled so that it comes out from below.

from what I remember, to put the rope with the ball in its original place, you need to disassemble the whole trolley ... so unscrew the M8 nut on the front of the rail ... slide the trolley back and put the rope there ... but maybe there are other ways that I don't know :)

I was able to hook the line on as it is specified in the manual about the yoke (red element), unfortunately I do not know what hole is through which I should thread the line.

The cable is to pass over the steel pin of the sled, which "holds" the gate connector (the one with holes). There is such a rift there. When you thread it, the rope will hang right next to this connector (on the left side looking towards the exit. You put on the armor and thread the rope through a small hole (also on the left side) in the mount on the gate. The armor will be blocked on one side by the trolley and on the other by handle on the gate.

Thanks for all the advice. Problem solved!

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the assembly manual for the FAAC D600 gate drive during power failure situations. Users seek guidance on how to properly install a rope mechanism for emergency door opening. Key instructions include threading a rope with a ball ending through a designated hole in the cart and connecting it to a red moving element. It is clarified that disassembly of the guide is not necessary; instead, disengaging the drive and manipulating the trolley is sufficient. The cable should pass over a steel pin and through a small hole in the gate mount, ensuring proper alignment for functionality. The issue was ultimately resolved with the provided advice.
